Ch. 59 - Team Rocket Hideout 2

"I just hope I don't throw up in the Real World while spinning on these tiles."

Unlike in the game, where you have a bird's-eye view of the whole arrangement of the tiles, which makes it easy to decide on which tile to step on.

Here, It was a lot more difficult due to the limited view.

"There is no point in waiting." I said as I stepped on a spin tile.

As I stepped on it, I was propelled forward while spinning. After passing through a few more spin tiles, I came to a stop on a stop tile.

"I don't feel so good."

I sat down while holding my head, which was still spinning even though I had come to a stop.

"This is going to be so much harder than I thought."

"Finally, I am out"

After going through many tiles, I finally reached the end of the puzzle.

After spinning for so long, I became numb to spinning and didn't feel anything afterward.

After completing the puzzle, I was in a room with stairs and an elevator.

Unlike the other stairs which led to the next floor of the Hideout, this stair was leading up, back to the previous floor.

"This stair will probably take me back to the first floor, but to a different area from the one I explored. Maybe it'll take me to the area behind that locked door."

Using the stairs, I climbed back to the first floor.

As I expected, I emerged in a completely different area. I was now in a large room with many tables and chairs. There were also two Team Rocket Grunts present inside the room.

After defeating the Grunts, I looked around the room.

But besides the Hyper Potion, I didn't find anything.

Surprisingly, I also didn't find the elevator which I saw on the second floor.

"Does that mean that the elevator leads to another area?"

This is the only way to find out, by using the elevator.

Using the stairs, I went back to the second floor and entered the elevator, but as I tried to use it, the window for the floor selection didn't appear; instead, an error notification appeared.

[You need a Key to use the Elevator]

"Don't tell me all the spinning that I endured was only for the Hyper Potion, and I'll have to do that all over again when I get the Key."

"Fuck Me!!!" I said in anger as I exited the elevator.

"I guess I'll have to proceed to the next floor now."

Using a shortcut to quickly reach the stairs, I descended to the next floor.

In the haste of moving to the next floor, I forgot to heal Abra and my other Pokemon.

There were two rooms on this floor. In the first room, there was a Team Rocket Grunt.

After defeating the grunt, I looked around and found a TM.

Exiting the first room, I entered the second room, which was filled with Spin Tiles.

"Not again."

Navigating through the Spin Tiles, I reached the end.

At the end, a Team Rocket Grunt was waiting.

After defeating the Grunt, I entered deep into the room and found an item lying on the ground.

Curious since this was the first time I had seen this item, I clicked on <Use > and the list of my Pokemon appeared.

But instead of selecting a Pokemon, I pressed <Cancel > since I don't know what this item does or if I'll need it in the future.

After checking the item, I moved forward and reached the stairs leading to the next floor.

On this floor, there was a room and a hallway.

I first entered the room and on the table found an Item.

After getting the item, I exited the room and headed down the hallway.

At the end of the hallway, there was another room in which a Team Rocket Grunt stood guard.

There was also an item on the floor which I picked up.

"Huh? Ever since I came to this floor, I didn't see any stairs, so I was expecting this item to be the Key of the Elevator."

"Wait, Maybe this is the last floor, that's why there are no other stairs."

"But then, how am I going to find the BOSS, because from the game I remember I'll have to fight the Boss of the Team Rocket."

Looking around, My eyes fell on the Team Rocket Grunt.

"Maybe I'll get something from him." I said as I moved in front of the Grunt.

But unlike the other Grunts, he didn't challenge me to a Pokemon battle as soon as he saw me.

Confused, I interacted with him.

"The elevator doesn't work? Who has the LIFT KEY?" after saying that, the Grunt challenged me to a Pokemon Battle.

"Oh, no!" the Grunt exclaimed.

"I dropped the LIFT KEY!" he said.

I saw the key falling on the floor, which I quickly picked up.

"Yes, Now I can use the elevator."

After getting the Key, I headed back to the second floor where I could access the elevator.

Soon, I was back on the second floor. I quickly went through the Spin Tiles and reached the elevator.

Inside the elevator, the window for the floor selection appeared.

[Which floor do you want to go?]

I first selected <B1F >.

And as I did, the elevator started moving and soon came to a stop.

Exiting the elevator, I was in a hallway with a Team Rocket Grunt.

Quickly defeating the Grunt, I headed down the hallway and reached the room with the locked door, but the door was now unlocked, and I was inside the room.

Since I was on the first floor, I thought of heading to the Pokemon Center to heal my Pokemon, but I decided against it.

I chose to first explore the remaining of the fourth floor until the boss battle before healing my Pokemon, as I will probably face some Grunts before the Boss battle.

Heading back to the elevator, this time, I pressed <B4F >.

Exiting the elevator, I was in a hallway with a large space and tables.

On the table, I saw an Item which I picked up.

After getting the item, I headed down the hallway and soon reached the room where two Team Rocket Grunts were guarding a door.

I remembered that the door wouldn't open until I defeated both the Grunts.

Defeating one of the Grunts, I quickly moved to the other one.

As soon as I defeated the second Grunt, A loud bang rang through the floor, and the locked door opened.

Since I knew I would be facing the Boss inside the room, I chose to head back to the Pokemon Center and heal my Pokemon first.
