Seth shrugs the towel loose. “There’s an idea. Maybe if we offer, she’ll let us get by without doing the essay.”
Rubbing the water from his hair with the towel, Mark says, “Nah, she’ll just cut it back to ten pages or so. We’d have to be really great in the sack to get out of it completely.”
“Speak for yourself,” Seth jokes. “I’ve never had any complaints. Back up, will you? You’re getting me all wet.”
It’s comments like these that make Mark wonder if maybe there can’t be something between them. Sure, Seth likes girls, but so what? Mark’s slept with two or three in the past. Okay, two, and the one in high school doesn’t really count because she was his prom date and everyone goes all the way on prom night, don’t they? So one since he realized he prefers guys. Maybe Seth’s bi?
With any luck.
