38 Chapter 38

"Never thought that you are that powerful," Suki said. 

Currently, Haru had drunk some tea with healing proprieties, made by Suki. His health had been recharged to its peak. Knowing how good this medicine was, he had decided to ask her later to make him large pots. It would be good to store them. 

"I was lucky." Haru shrugged his shoulder. 

Suki had always believed that Haru defeated her in their first two clashes thanks to luck. The first time, he had used the soil to shackle her when she had attacked him. Suki had called him lucky, and he hadn't denied it. 

But now, she started thinking that it was because he was gentle. 

"You are talented, not lucky," Suki replied with a smile. The longer their eye contact lasted, the faster her heartbeat. Haru could feel this, but he couldn't concentrate on it because someone came to visit. 

The village leader, Oyaji, opened the door to Haru's house. "Hey, young man, did you really kill Unagi." 

Suki was the one to reply. "Didn't you just take a team to drag its body?" 

"Yeah, I did, before anyone would find out," Oyaji said. 

Behind Oyaji, there was a gathering of Kyoshi's warriors. Some villagers also came to the scene. 

"Is it that bad?" Haru asked. 

"No, not really. It's better." Oyaji said. "Unagi, in the past, had devoured kids who go to the beach. The only reason why we have our village in the mountain was thanks to that beast. War contributed little to that. If we build a house down, it would take it down with its water stream. When it gets hungry, it would just jump and drag someone. "  Oyaji smiled wryly. "It's both good and bad. The people of our village can finally enjoy the beach and the warm weather, instead of the snow." 

"I can build a wall around you," Haru said. "My humble earthbending power would do as much." 

Haru reminded Oyaji of the arrogant words the latter had spoken. Oyaji had said that Haru will be a great Earthbender one day if he focused on bending alone. 

"No need to remind you. You are already powerful enough." Oyaji smiled with a blush taking over his face. "Well, I will have to trouble you." 

Rubbing his head, Haru thought if he can use his power to build a house or a palace. It wouldn't be hard creating blocks and building them. 

To a powerful earthbender, building a house, in reality, was like building a house in Minecraft. 

"No need to mention that." 

"By the way, how do you feel?" Luki, the older woman from the dojo, asked. 

"Fresh." Haru stood up and stretched his arms up. "I can tomorrow to train." 

"You really have an amazing physique." When she replied, she and the other girls started examining Haru's body from head to toe. Haru noticed that they weren't looking at his eyes, but at his body. Soon, he found Suki staring at them with piercing glances. They stared back, and a conversation seemed to happen through their glances. They lifted their eyes slowly, and the atmosphere felt normal again.

"What was that?" Haru asked. 

"You will get it, once you reach my age." Oyaji smiled. 

"Now, please, can you leave Haru alone. He needs to rest," Suki said. 

"Yes please." 

Sure, Haru will help the people and train with them later. But now, he was more concerned about the subclass thing he gained when he reached level 20.

When everyone left, Haru was alone with Suki, who asked him if he needs anything. Haru was polite enough to say that he needs sleep so that she would leave him alone. There had been few glances between them, and there seemed to be a spark happening. Suki's face blushed slightly. She approached him and kissed him on the forehead, leaving Haru face to face with her large chest. Although way smaller than Kyoshi's, Suki had a nice set to herself. 

If this was a normal day, he would let her stay and flirt with her. Hell, Kyoshi had left him some unfinished desire, and he was on heat. 

But the heat of choosing a new subclass was taking over him. 

When Suki finished kissing his forehead, she took her head back and smiled at his face. Haru stared at her lips, and she blushed a little. 

"I'll visit you once you finish sleeping." 

"Sure." 

Suki put her hand on his face and pushed his hair to the side. 

"I think that won't happen without me feeling worried about you," Suki said, making an excuse so she won't leave.

"Don't worry." Haru smiled. "Besides, your pretty face will make it hard for me to rest." Thinking that Kyoshi had said that Suki has a crush on him, he decided to flirt— Haru have some crush on her too. 

Hearing that, Suki's cheeks turned red. Her blush became visible through her make-up. She smiled and said. "Wait until you see me without this." 

"I'm pretty sure you will look prettier." He replied. 

Taking that smile from her face, she said. "I'll see you later then." 

She then turned to the door. When she got out and closed it, she lifted her fists and moved her lips to scream yes, except that she didn't make a sound, and Haru had been the only one to hear that thanks to his earthbending senses. 

Exhaling a sigh, Haru stared between his legs, at the large tent, and he said. "Sorry, buddy. Next time we do it here and in the spirit world, so calm down." 

Feeling that he had enough privacy now and that no one was around him, Haru opened his system, and he looked at the new notification he had gotten. It asked him to choose his subclass. 

Now, what Haru knows about sub-classes. It's a specialised one. 

Excited to see what he has, Haru opened the sub-classes options. 

He froze in his place.

'That's unfair.' 

He wanted to scream. 

The system offered him many choices, too many. 

They all sounded good that made it hard to choose. 

It's like when you get offered to pick up one of all of your favourite foods when they are placed on the table. 

And he can only choose once. 

'Well, I have all of the time in the world.' 

Putting his hands behind his head, he stared at the screen. He moved it down with his eyes. 

Three classes got his interest, and his curiosity and they seemed to be good. 

[Golem Master]

(uses golems and controls them to use on the battlefield.)

This seemed to be a good option. Creating a large golem to fight his enemies. However, what if they had a hostage. Or what if it consumed his attention to using these golems…

[The Earth Knight] 

(uses the powers of earth to increase the damage of the attacks and the speed of movement. The Earth Knight summons various weapons into the battle and thrust them) 

It seemed a speciality of skills. Haru had specialised in earth swords and spears. If he wanted, he could go further beyond. Being Earth Knight would increase his powers when fighting a large group. But it didn't sound unique. 

The last one was the one that attracted him. 

[Earth forces bender]

(uses the forces of the earth) 

What he knows about the earth. There is Gravity, which no one seemed to discover in this world. It is magnetic. There is electricity. And there is more to discover, only if he paid attention in his classes in his previous life. 

There were other good choices, but Haru wanted to learn how to bend forces. Maybe he can move faster than Earth Knight if he lowered the gravity. He may be wrong, but there is only one way to find out.

Suddenly, a wave of information invaded his mind, and he understood his skills. As it seems, using forces of the earth depends on how he controls his Chi. It's like lightning bending, except it's different. 

Haru decided test it tomorrow.
