Which one should I copy?

Chapter 31: Which one should I copy?

Smiling some more and to Nova's surprise, she introduced herself first. "She called me Ivelisse, Ivelisse Blaze, and you?".

Nova was taken aback but also introduced himself properly.

"My name is Nova Leiden, nice to meet you," Nova replied politely, also having a slight smile on his face.

"Nice to meet you, Nova," Ivelisse said matter-of-factly, also seeming extremely polite.

As they looked directly into each other's eyes, Nova said in his mind, "Copycat."

[The Player has used the unique Copycat skill, he can copy the following skills or techniques:

 Fire Control.

 Fire Creation.

 Fire clones.

 Solar Fire.

 Fire without limits.

 Golden Steps.

 Perfect Mana Control.

 Total Fire Manipulation

 Embracing heat

 ...]

A screen appeared in front of Nova's face, the size was a bit larger than normal, because...

'Who is this monster!!!', shouted Nova mentally, stupefied and on show.

There were so many skills and techniques that the system screen became a little bit, showing the great power and versatility of the person in front of him.

Nova tried to remember someone by the name of Ivelisse Blaze, but he simply didn't get a single piece of information from her, at least for him, he didn't remember anything about her.

But putting aside his inner show and disbelief, on the outside with serenity he continued his conversation with the beautiful redhead.

"By the way, you are the first person to pass the intelligence duel, you did it quite fast," continued the conversation with Ivelisse, with total naturalness.

Nova naturally responded. "Honestly, I had expected it."

His words were truly honest, he had expected to be the first to finish, even if he pretended to be thinking for several seconds, he still finished rather quickly.

"I'll start the last test soon, I hope you pass, goodbye," Ivelisse said goodbye, at the same time from her palm she expelled golden-colored flames that slowly turned into a mask.

The mask was made purely of fire, Ivelisse put it on without much thought. The mask only covered the lower part of her, leading up to the bridge of her nose.

"Yes, I won't take up any more of your time, goodbye," Nova replied, also saying goodbye.

She, hearing his reply, nodded, then turned away as she walked away.

Now, with the beauty not so close to him, Nova became much more comfortable and relaxed.

He was boasting a moment ago that it was stupid to be nervous about someone of the opposite sex, but a while ago, he was on edge.

'There's nothing wrong with you, she was just other beautiful,' Nova tried to console himself mentally.

At the same time, he looked around again. It was already a habit for him, he had been sent from one room to another, and so on, he was in a new world, so it was inevitable not to look around frequently.

Nova's eyes sparkled with admiration when he saw the current room, it was completely... Different.

Yes, at last, it was not similar or almost the same, but the current room was very different from the previous ones.

Instead of being flat and with only one color, it was a kind of small coliseum, with ladders and seats on top, the roof was made of glass, but Nova could not see beyond it, since the glasses were dark, also according to Nova's memories, they were made by Mana so that it was not possible to see beyond it.

Where Nova stood was the battlefield of the coliseum, which had a square white line, possibly simulating a battlefield.

The floor was thin and flat, bluish-black.

The walls separating the arena from the stairs were also the same color, black, and bluish, although it was a little darker. There were also very high walls, 3.5 meters high.

There was some sort of entrance or doorway between the walls, which Nova assumed led to the scalars.

After the scalars, there were the spectator seats, which Nova's vision said appeared to be very comfortable, as they were like furniture with a soft, comfortable texture.

I could already see Ivelisse sitting there in one of those seats, briefly surprising Nova, remembering that two seconds ago she was right in front of him.

But he soon found it logical as he remembered how stupid her skills and techniques were, she must not be very weak in physical capabilities she must be almost as scary as her skills.

Thinking about this, Nova couldn't help but congratulate himself; for at least, in his perspective, he left a decent impression on Ivelisse.

'They're going to be quite a while... I'd better go sit down too,' Nova thought, as he began her walk towards the entrance or door between the walls.

With a relatively normal pace, perhaps a bit slow, he walked further in.

Passing through the doorway, nothing was encountered but a simple staircase that appeared to be going up. The structure of the staircase indicated an upward walk circularly.

It looked like a grand staircase. Nova didn't think too much either, he didn't even wonder if he should be here or not. After all, he knew too well about the game to know that there wasn't even a way to escape from here, but for the command of his superiors.

Yes, he was locked in, but Nova wasn't worried; instead, he calmly climbed the ladders, soon reaching the surface.

"This looks like a professional soccer field," Nova muttered with a spark of recognition.

He found seats here and there the whole thing reminded him quite a bit of a soccer stadium from his previous world.

He wasn't passionate about sports, but he had seen enough to see similarities.

Looking at the seats in front of him, Nova chose one that seemed to be quite comfortable and had the best view, it was perfect for what he had planned...

What it was he had planned? he just knew.

But that didn't matter now under his perspective, the only thing that mattered was...

The list of powers he could copy, even in front of him!
