41 Tastes perfect

Cameron thought to appreciate Ava for the gift she selected for his parents the next day as it would be a working day for them.

The next morning, Ava went to her work as always. When she was working at her desk, she noticed Cameron walking toward the cabin, that too at a sharp time. 

" Does the sunrise in the west? " she thought and stood up from the chair to greet him. He nodded his head and walked quietly with a small smile. She was startled by his reaction. She expected that he would be mad at her for talking with him rudely at his parent's wedding anniversary party.

She quickly prepared a latte for him and then went to his cabin. He stared at her while coming towards him with the cup in her hand.

She stood beside him and placed the cup on his work desk carefully. When you were sipping the coffee, she told him about his meeting schedules and his work to be finished on the day.

" Is she a robot! Or else she is behaving with me like a professional! " he thought in his mind. 

"Mr Richards…may I leave! " She asked his permission professionally. She waited for his reply but he was silent. 

" Sir, Is there any work I need to do! " She asked him. He looked at her and said, " Yes…". 

" I don't like people addressing me with Mr Richards. I feel like an old man, " he said in a stern voice. " Okay, Sir…." She replied.

" Miss. Ava, I am not your teacher to address me as Sir. Just call me Cameron. You can address me as Mr Richards only when we have meetings to attend" She blinked her eyes with surprise looking at his face. She nodded her head timidly.

" Looks so cute," he thought.

" Shall I leave…Mr.  Ri…I mean…Cam..eron" she stuttered. 

" Yes, Ava. You may leave and continue your work…" Cameron replied, looking at her confused face. Instantly she went to her desk and fetched a glass of water from the desk. She gulped it one go as she was confused by his reaction. She thought that he would yell at her for her earlier behaviour. But to her surprise, he reacted opposite to what she thought.

After a few minutes, she continued her work at her desk. When she was checking the mail, she noticed a message from Bora's company that due to some emergency in their company they cancelled the meeting with Cameron. As per the schedule, the meeting would be after lunch. She stood up from her seat to inform Cameron. Just at the same time, a young man came to her.

" I am here to meet Cameron. I have no appointment. But I am his friend. My name is Lancelot Peterson, " he said and introduced himself to her. 

He was handsome and almost six feet five inches tall. As per his accent, she understood that he is from another country. She gave a small smile and requested him to wait for a few minutes so that she could inform Cameron. She walked to his cabin and informed Cameron about the visitor. 

" Ask him to come in…" Cameron permitted to allow him.

"Mr Peterson, you can meet Mr Richards…." She informed him.  " May I know what your name is?'' Miss " he asked, looking at her face.

" Ava Miller, sir," she replied.

Then the person walked while looking at Ava who resumed her work. As soon as Lancelot entered the cabin, Cameron welcomed him with a hug. 

" How are you? And what made you come here suddenly! " He asked Lancelot curiously.

" I am here on professional work. I have a photoshoot near this place so I thought to meet you…" he informed.

" That's great…" Cameron smiled and both of them settled on the couch. Cameron instructed Ava to bring one cappuccino to Lancelot through the intercom. Both of them were discussing their modelling career. Cameron felt disappointed when they were talking about the modelling profession. He felt bad to leave his dreams to his family. 

After meeting Lancelot, he thought if he could continue his career, he might be in a top position in his profession.

Just then, Ava entered his cabin with Cappuccino and gave the cup to Lancelot's hand with a small smile. Then she turned back to leave the cabin. 

" It tastes perfect. Miss. Ava, " he complimented her. She turned her face back. " Thank you, sir…" Then she walked out of the cabin.

"Cameron...Your secretary is gorgeous and her smile is alluring." Lancelot commented. "Hope I will get a chance with her before I leave this city, " he added.
