Forgive this temporary delay but I am slightly ill. The next chapter may also be a little later

The wolf jumped up, but not straight as the knight expected, but instead dodged to the side, trying to flank Gawain from the left before attacking the necromancer 'directly', avoiding the 'bone wall'.
This was a condition that his defender could not afford, so before the old wolf was out of range of his blade Gawain swiftly smashed him with his sword.
With grace and elegance, the experienced wolf dodged the incoming blow but did not stop trying to get closer to the necromancer.
Gawain, however, was not slow either and blocked every attempt of the wolf to escape from his grasp to the right or left, either with his shield or his sword.
And so the fight between the two 'worthy' opponents, reminiscent of a dance, went on and on, with the great knight's victory always looming on the horizon.
After all, in a battle of attrition, nothing beats the infinite stamina of the undead and their flawless diligence.
"..."
Seeing that he was in no immediate danger of being attacked by the old beast, Samuel decided to deal with the other creature which had shown no signs of attack or its presence for several moments.
"What..." Shouted the necromancer when he found no other opponent in sight.
"And where did the other one go..."
The wolf-coward, as one would expect of him, fled the battlefield a few minutes ago, when no one paid the slightest attention to him, thus leaving his companion to his fate or, in this case, certain death.
"Never mind...Randaloph will take care of him later...the fella likes to hunt."
"..."
"So you still haven't escaped Wolf." Samuel thought as he looked at the "Old One" who continued to 'dance' with his knight.
"I don't know whether to respect you for your bravery or condemn you for your stupidity."
"In any case, the chance to escape has already passed."
...
..
.
Gawain's fight continued but this time with the help of his master it would not last so long. The wolf, encircled on all sides by skeletons, was unable to dodge every attack aimed in his direction as well as the icy missiles of the necromancer, who again began to slowly return mana when no longer maintaining the ice arena altogether.
The wolf exhausted finally dropped dead when one of Samuel's spells hit him in the head with an instant kill.
The left side of the battlefield was over.
...
The only surviving wolf outside the arena also tried to escape when he was overwhelmed by the whole army, but tired, slightly wounded, and bleeding, the wolf could not get very far since Gawain, in his unstoppable run, caught up with him after some time and then easily butchered at the end.
The battle was already won.
All that was left was the Randaloph fight at the end which both undead decided to just wait and not intervene.

(Randaloph Site)
Uninterrupted by anything, the battle of the wolves continued without a hitch.
Randaloph, continuously healing from all his wounds like an abomination, quickly began to dominate the duel in the arena with effortless ease.
He went into a fighting frenzy, abandoning defense in favor of a relentless and ferocious attack. Biting, scratching, attacking his larger opponent with anything he could get his hands on, while his relentless actions were having an effect.
Alpha was getting weaker and weaker at a noticeable rate, first, his limbs started to give out, then his torso was bitten repeatedly and one eye was bitten by Randaloph's claws and fangs, then the other eye was filled with his blood, leaving the white wolf blind.
Exhausted and badly wounded, the white wolf finally collapsed, barely alive, unable to get up and relying on the mercy of his opponent.
Randaloph did not want to easily kill his former nemesis as he had done before and finished the duel with 'honor'.
No...the undead wolf did not let go so lightly this time, having learned from experience as well as from watching his master deal with defenseless victims, Randaloph decided to prolong his opponent's suffering and play with his new prey.
With all his might, the one-eyed wolf held his former opponent in place with his front paws and slowly began to bite into the more undamaged part of his torso, just to inflict pain.
The undead monster's teeth barked each time it even tried to swallow the skin of a living animal, and it did so until its insides came out.
But the avenger did not stop there, because now that he had tasted of blood, he began to tear out the guts of the alpha, scattering them right and left. Once he was done with them there was no more to be done, he took care of the rest of the limbs of the 'living' wolf.
And so the macabre display of nature continued and only stopped when there wasn't a single intact fragment left of the body from what was surely already a deceased beast.
The undead wolf's moment of frustration ended when he bit into the white giant's head with all his might and crushed its skull, thus ending the blood feud.
Covered in blood, organs, and sweat on his white bones, the one-eyed wolf howled to the sky with joy.
Revenge was paid in blood.
And the whole battle ended in a 'crushing' victory for the undead side.
...
During the long battle, it was unknown then to either of the two wolves that at some point they stopped being surrounded by an ice wall and started fighting in the open.
For each of them, at that moment, was caught up in a battle rage and saw nothing but their hated opponent.

Mentally exhausted by the whole incident, Samuel sat down by the nearest tree and began to observe the whole devastation.
"That went easily, didn't it?"
"Maasster...." He was answered by a machine that needed no rest, which stood directly behind him and protected its beloved master from even the slightest danger as it faced the incoming leaves.
"OK..nothing to complain about, what matters is that we won".
"Gawain you know...later, Randaloph will be here soon, I think that he won, because he has finally stopped stealing mana from me."
"But just to make sure he's definitely a winner, would you walk over to him my warrior?"
"MASTER..."
"Alright...I'll go with you be that as it may...Ehhh..what is it to walk a few meters" Said the necromancer as he got to his feet.
"Lead the way, my knight"
******
"You know, I didn't expect to see something like this today, not even by my own hand, but..."
"I understand why you did it," the necromancer began calmly, looking at something that could barely be considered a corpse anymore.
Every limb of the former alpha was somewhere else, the head was barely recognizable because it was so crushed, none of the muscles were in their original state and not even the skeleton was intact.
The bones were crushed, torn, and gnawed. The only evidence that the former alpha's body existed intact was a large blood stain standing in its original location in the middle of the formed field as well as the internal organs of a wolf that Randaloph 'barely touched'.
"I hope the damn mongrel didn't destroy the possibility of absorbing vitality," Samuel thought as he began to approach the nearest 'intact' part of the corpse.
"Minor Death Touch"
"..."
"Good, it works...now I'll just have to use it on ...every remaining part...so much to do"
" Oi Randaloph...there's still one wolf left to kill."
At these words, the undead wolf finally came out of the lethargy and nostalgia in which the necromancer had found him, focusing all his attention on Samuel
"One escaped during the fight, the coward as I called him gave up, leaving the second one to die."
"I don't know what you want to do with him, we can always abandon the chase..."
Samuel hadn't been able to even finish his sentence when Randaloph kicked off running in pursuit.
"Bring him back...and if you can find some lake nearby wash up because the red doesn't match the style of our army" shouted the necromancer to the increasingly distant wolf.
"..."
"He didn't listen to me, did he?"
"Master..."
"..."
"Master...
"Yes...let's get to work."
"Ah...so much unnecessary work to do...I think I got what I brought up"

"Minor Death Touch"
"1...2...3...4...5...6...6 and 1/3...6 and 2/3...well 7 or so"
"Minor Death Touch"
""From the rest of the pieces I don't think I'll get anything else"".
""Oh Randaloph you are perfectly on time"" said Samuel when out of the corner of his 'eye' he spotted the approaching wolf.
"And you didn't forget to bring the prey how nice of you."
" A to this...he is still alive...barely but alive".
"He's all bitten and ragged still somehow breathing I guess he's a 'coward' afraid to even die. Well, his loss for an easier death, he will live a while longer and I have a new toy to experiment with."
"Put him next to the rest of the skeletons...and don't move the alpha skeleton I just put it back together."
"`--__--`"
"Well you can choose one but not the alpha"
"--__--"
"Are you sure you want a coward...ok your choice just suck the life out of it and you can play with it or whatever you want to do with them."
"~~__~~"
"..."
"Minor Death Touch"
"..."
"There you go, here are your bones"
"But..."
"Before you take them and run off to no one knows where I have an idea that you might like."
"==__="
I see I've finally got you interested...so without further ado what do you say I revive your former flock as I did with you?"
"What do you think"
"--\__/--"
"Come on, you don't have anything to hold a grudge anymore, they are already dead, if I revive them you can start your friendship from the beginning."
""==__=="
"Don't exaggerate it won't be so bad, you will be the alpha of your pack again, don't you want to go back to the good old days."
"^^__^^"
"Still not convinced then what do you say to the argument beyond question for you. If I resurrect the white alpha then you can bully him again till your anger passes"
"So what do you say?"
"--__--"
"I knew you'd be convinced, then just put down the skeleton you're already holding in your mouth, then when I create the rest of the army, we can get started."
"--/__\--"
"Eh..."
"Be damned, take it I'm not going to argue another hour for one more."
"Losing a coward is not a loss," thought the necromancer looking at the remaining pile of animal bones.
After successfully persuading his disobedient pet, Samuel, accompanied by his faithful assistant, crouched on a nearby stone.
"Well, now, we wait."
