Brian Altair

Liana ran up to her fiancée with a happy smile. When she stopped in front of him Arvin Raion smiled as well and embraced her in front of everyone.

Brain looked over at Mariana who was gritting her teeth in anger. Sighing he spoke, "She hasn't realized he fakes his entire personality."

Liana was probably faking her emotions as she had by now already found out the heir to Raion family's personality. A bastard and a liar. She had told him so, in the past timeline.

"Raion you're up against Altair!" The instructor had called the surnames of Brain and Arvin.

Brain's thoughts on the matter as he moved towards the designated zone were, 'I have to little mana to hurt him and still even then I'm not able to hurt him publicly. I can show people his true personality if I beat him though.'

Brian planned to reveal the fact that Arvin was a piece of shit by beating him. He was quite the sore loser even up till the point of his death.

Brain and Arvin exchanged some words before the fight.

Then the instructor spoke, "Start!"

Brain began by summoning an Earth Spike. Arvin attacked with a fire spell but it was blocked by Brian. Following up the Earth Spike with a Gust spell Brian sent a cloud of dust towards Arvin.

Having to close his eyes Arvin couldn't see the Breeze Ball coming towards him but he got lucky and dodged the attack.

"Well I hadn't planned for you to be able to cast that fast in succession." Arvin spoke.

Brian grinned, "I always try my best." This was the philosophy he had adapted in order to get to the point he did in his past life.

The Arvin's brow twitched giving Brian the conformation that Arvin was still the same. Brian prepared another spell and unleashed it.

He and Arvin continued to exchange spells till Brian got him to a place where Arvin could be defeated. With a well timed small Earth Spike below Arvin's feet he tripped and fell out of the circle marking the area they were allowed to be in.

"Damn I lost. Good fight though." Arvin didn't do as Brian expected and instead spoke those words. He got up from the ground and brushed off the dirt.

'Did I underestimate how well he could control himself?' Brian pondered as he walked off. He still hadn't realized the Arvin he knew was different in this timeline.

And so was his love, Liana Everlance.

Brian sat on a chair and began to make plans. He would need to prepare for an event which would be happening in the season of Torchbloom. He also needed to get a Magicka Fruit to increase his mana capacity.

'So many things I need to do. Oh! I also need money.' He began to think of ways to do so and decided he would sell magic items using his knowledge of enchantment.

As he went on making plans Liana and Arvin were also making some.

"Hey maybe we should go to the beach."

"Good idea I heard that there is a festival in the season of Torch."

"Let's go during that then."

Short chapter but it was just supposed to reveal that Brian is a regressor.
