Place of preparation

Alita finally stopped running when she reached the heart of a forest standing between Havilla and Havana. 

"Where is this place?" She asked, furrowing her brows, an expression which didn't reflect on her face. 

The instant she told Vee to take control, a strange but powerful force pulled her into a dark void where she continued falling for some time until she hit a solid surface. 

Her eyes flew open to realize she was back in her body, but has no control over any part of her body. If she tries to move, there was an invisible force restricting her from doing so. The only thing she could do was see and talk. And whenever she talks, her physical lips doesn't move. They only move when Vee answers her or says something to her. 

"What is happening to me?" She had asked, alarmed when she saw what was happening. While she was still panicking, she had heard Axel's voice call her name and she whipped her head in his direction where his voice came from.
