Argue with the fridge

Earlier, when Axel left the house, Asher stood up and started walking towards the door.

"Where are you going to?" Zica asked, narrowing her eyes as she watched him approach the door. He had been acting strange since Alexa attacked him, so she was suspicious of his sudden movement as Alexa was standing beside the door. She hoped he wasn't planning to even the scores now that Axel had left since it was Axel who had stopped him from putting Alexa to sleep.

"I'm going to check on Fred," Asher answered without looking back at Zica. And without sparing Alexa a glance, he walked out of the room. Sienna followed closely behind him as he also needed to see how Fred was doing, and more importantly, he doesn't want to be the only vampire left in the same room with Alexa.

When he got to the spot where she stood, he unconsciously held his breath as he walked past her, releasing it only when he stepped out of the room. When that was done, he internally laughed at himself.
