In the palace of Vitalia kingdom. Some chiefs sat in the meeting hall waiting for the king's arrival.
As soon as his presence was announced, they all stood up and he walked in with his four men who were the most trusted Lords in Vitalia. His movement was graceful and at the same time fearful. His brown hair was down and his piercing gaze never missed a detail. Only his aura could make one shiver as it was dark and dangerous.
He sat quietly looking at all of the chiefs with their head bowed.
"So?" His voice could make anyone fall on their knees that instant.
The chiefs went on reporting for two hours. He didn't even pay any attention.
"Is that all?" He asked.
"Well, your majesty. About the queen issue. We need a queen to see the matters of the females in the kingdom." One of the chiefs and he regretted it immediately because the king's gaze gave made him tremble.
"Melchoir." One of his Lords called and he calmed down.
"I told you if you can't find her, you should never talk about my queen. Ever again." The king, Melchoir hit his fist on the table and the chiefs shook with fear. It was only his Lords that seemed unaffected by his anger.
"Melchoir you should know how to control yourself." The first Lord, Achilles said as they returned to Melchoir's chamber.
"He shouldn't be when it comes to her. He's been calm enough." The second Lord, Vitalis rolled his eyes.
"I think it's time you move on Mel. Your father would not like it if he learns you don't have a lady yet. She has been gone for thirteen years now maybe she isn't coming back." The third Lord, Ralph replied.
"You know I can't. If I move on and she reappears, you know she'll be my weakness. No one will be able to protect her." Melchoir sighed.
"I really pity you Mel, your own weakness is her. I'm really glad my weakness is less complicated." Vitalis sighed.
"Less complicated uhn?" Achilles removed the necklace around Vitalis neck and he started turning pale bit by bit.
"Okay, okay, give it back." Vitalis snatched the necklace.
"We're dealing with something serious here. If Melchoir's father knows about us being unable to help him find his weakness we'll all be in hot lava." The fourth Lord, Xander replied.
"Speaking of lava I've got to run. I can't afford to go wild here. See you later." Achilles walked out of the room to the garden.
"I'm off too. I'll bring any information I get." Xander followed Achilles.
"I'm off to the brothel. I can't also lose control." Vitalis smirked making Melchoir and Ralph roll their eyes.
"So Melchoir I've searched three different kingdoms and still no sign of her. What will we do?" Ralph sat opposite Melchoir.
"I really don't know." Melchoir replied and Ralph sighed. "Your eyes."
"Ughhh, I hate my weakness." Ralph stood up to leave.
"At least yours is better than mine." Melchoir said.
"Trust me it isn't. But Melchoir, what if she's dead?" Ralph asked.
"She can't be. I'll feel it if she is dead. I won't be able to be in my right mind." Melchoir replied and Ralph nodded. "You should get going, your lust is getting worse."
Ralph walked into the garden and sighed before leaving.
Melchoir laid on his bed and sighed. He hated his life. Why? Why did she have to leave him? Although they were just kids but she made him a promise and she failed to fulfil it.
Melchoir walked out of his chambers to the garden and picked a bow and arrow before her started shooting.
He only chose to be a king because of his goal on the surface. What will his father say when he gets to know he hasn't found her still. Suddenly his a black substance started coming out of his body.
He tried hard to control himself but he just couldn't. Just then her voice rang in his head.
"Melchoir."
Slowly the black air returned into his body and he fell on the grass exhausted. He needed to find her as soon as possible or he would be dead in a few months.
Later that night, he sat alone in the garden when the Lords walked out of his room.
"I found something Melchoir." Xander said.
"It's no use Xander. It's no use." Melchoir sighed. "She left me already and do you even think she'll just accept a stranger to take her away if you found her?"
"Oh please every woman wants to marry a king." Vitalis rolled his eyes.
"Well not her. I can feel it. She won't even accept if we find her. She'll look at is like who are we. And the next time I see her might be the only chance of us..."
"Just shut it Melchoir and quit this useless ranting." Ralph hissed.
"Is he ranting?" Viltalis asked and Ralph glared at him.
"Shut it if you don't want to be my next dinner." Ralph threatened and Viltalis gulped.
"I'm telling you she isn't like that." Melchoir hissed.
"What is her name again?" Xander asked.
"I don't know. But I know how she looks like." Melchoir hissed.
"Great. The greatest punishment is you not remembering her name but you know how she looks like. She has golden hair and this and that, gosh." Achilles groaned. "Why do I have to suffer along with you Melchoir?"
"Tell me about it." Viltalis rolled his eyes.
"So Melchoir, you still don't remember her name. This is so frustrating." Xander almost yelled.
"See if you guys don't want to help me then tell Melva to tell father so he would punish us all together. It's not like it's my fault or something. The universe hates me that's why I have to suffer. Since all these years all you do is complain except Ralph who understands how it feels like. Just leave me alone if you want father to kill you all then tell Melva you're done with following me around and carrying my burdens when you have yours. Simple." Melchoir's sudden outburst surprised them.
He stood up and disappeared into thin air making them all sigh.
"Melva is you woman Ralph tell her already." Viltalis sighed.
"I am so not telling Melva anything." Ralph yelled. "Are you guys seriously getting tired of Melchoir now? We all know it isn't his fault." Ralph hissed.
"Now you're lecturing us." Achilles hissed.
"It's not a lecture it's just the fact. You know even the consequences of turning your back against the prince is grave than this one we're going through." Ralph reminded.
"Meh, whatever."
Ralph went to find Melchoir. He was sitting on a rock next to a lagoon. His brown hair was covering his face but Ralph could tell he was lost.
"Mel." Ralph sat next to him but he didn't reply. Ralph knew he was listening so he continued. "I know it's hard for you. We'll find her very soon. And if no one cares you know I will."
"You're just saying that because you're my sister's lover. I get it.m, but thanks." Melchoir snapped his fingers and all his clothes were off and he jumped into the water.
Ralph sighed and shook his head. This guy would never believe him right. All he thinks he does is because of his sister who doesn't even care a bit about him.
