Chapter ninety eight

It took away the good memories after Pascal told me he wanted to have me to himself. He told me he wanted me to be more than a friend to him.

I didn't know how to take it because we created a lot of boundaries, rules and whatever may fall under that category.

I didn't know how to understand the whole thing. I guess it was because I didn't want it either.

I decided to dump the friendship, yes. It was another bad decision.

"You are not going well and you are making everything worse. I feel so stranded and pained by what you have said because we decided to stick to a decision already. I don't understand what you are saying to me," I asked.

"I know we planned to stay cool as friends, but I can't hold back this thing I'm feeling for you. I mean, we could explore other options," he grabbed my shoulders gently and poled into my eyes. I didn't even feel my heart beating, I felt normal. I felt irritated.
