Wani Capture

The ropes were passed down allowing Pixel to wrap them around the body of the Wani until it was fully secured.

She then threw the other end of the rope up towards Harley who had caught it.

Harley took the rope and started leaping from branch to branch until she finally came across a solid piece of land beneath her.

Her feet touched down on the ground followed by many others who followed behind and grabbed onto the rope.

The rope tightened as the Wani was beginning to be pulled towards them.

Their combined efforts and natural strength allowed for it to be pulled through the thick muddy swamp with a little more ease.

Its body started to get closer and closed despite the heavy resistance from the thick muddy swamp getting in the way then one final big pull came. "Heave.. ho!"

The resistance lessened a great deal and the rope became less tightened as the body of the unconscious Wani had lifted up out of the swamp.

Its body touched the solid ground s little at a time until its whole body had been removed from the swamp.

Once it was out of the swamp, Pixel approached it on one side and the others moved to other positions putting their hands under its body.

With a coordinated movement, their bent over bodies straightened up lifting the Wani up high over their shoulders and some over their heads.

Their feet moved quickly allowing for them to cover more ground at a quicker pace while more Wani started to gather near the edges of the swamp area as if on guard due to the sudden intrusion.

Pixel sent one look back and made eye contact with one that was about to step out from the swamp and give chase. "Oh no you don't."

Her stare caused the Wani to freeze up and not move anymore before it retreated back into the swamp in a hurry.

It pushed past other Wani nearby causing them to slow down a lot before it sunk deeper into the swamp like it had encountered something terrifying.

The others were clueless why one of their own had suddenly ran away so they still kept up with their original idea of chasing those who had disturbed them.

The moment that they stepped out a little from the swamp, one by one they were frozen in fear followed by them fleeing in fear.

Once there was enough distance between them, it became a little easier to navigate through the area passing through the solid areas until they arrived outside.

A large cage on wheels was prepared which the large sized Wani was thrown into before being locked inside.

Harley showed a small grin as she commented. "Now that is one down. By the way..how many more do we have to get?"

Pixel was stood nearby and finished locking the Wani inside the cage before turning back to Harley. "Hmm.. for now about six should be enough but if anyone else wants one of these then it will take a little longer."

Harley shook her head as she stated. "No need. I can just share with you if you will continue to allow it."

Pixel nodded. "That is fine. How about you guys?"

The Wani Pixel had was very large in size so there was more than enough room to carry many others.

She did not mind sharing the space on its back but it would still be nice if she could have a little more room to herself.

It was the reason why she asked everyone since she was subduing them anyways.

The Wani were a key part of the Meridian families future plans that Felice had in mind so Pixel was helping to prepare for that in order to help stabilise the family a little.

It would help towards the family and those who served them regaining more faith in the family itself while helping Felice to solidify her position.

Her own involvement was to subdue and capture them bringing back a certain amount that could be tamed and made into mounts.

Even the fiercest and aggressive among the Wani had been subdued by Pixel at a younger age so she had confidence in being able to do the same for others.

Once the Wani were faced with such an overwhelming Conquerors Haki, they quickly knew how to lessen their aggression and submit.

Not long after that they would quickly adapt to training and would become excellent mounts for many Minks especially the stronger ones that knew how to handle similar creatures like them.

After undergoing the training from Pixel, they would soon became so tame that even Minks with less combat experience would be able to ride them safely without any major difficulties.

Once they were ready, it would be time for Felice to begin putting her first Wani associated games that would become the new attraction or event for young noble Minks.

Micah got closer and leaned over whispering to Pixel. "Well.. you can get me one but I would really prefer to build myself something. Having one would not hurt though. That way I can have a reason to sit with Cleo."

A small blush appeared on his face as he mentioned his intentions sending a secretive wink towards Pixel. "If Cleo asks for one then just get one between us."

Cleo crossed her arms further away looking uncomfortable before stepping behind him.

She pulled him by his ear causing him to wince in pain. "Stop bothering sister. Sorry sister. We can share one so if it is okay.. I can stay back to help."

Micah seemed to have been hit by a love arrow as if his eyes had turned into hearts once he heard Cleo say they would be sharing. "Ow.. ow.. ow.. yes. Of course!"

Pixel rolled her eyes at the young lovers and sighed. 'At least the feelings are mutual between them. My younger sister can handle herself a little better now it seems so I do not need to worry about her too much.'
