136 switching hostages

Charm may have had enough of effect to let her do what she wanted but it was not always going to be something that could overcome everything.

It was still lacking when it came to training just like her use of Conquerors Haki which was needed to utilise it better.

The distance played a big role in weakening the effects but so did the target or targets she had chosen to use it on.

If the effects were lessened then the target would not wish to do anything too far beyond what they wanted to do.

It was like asking someone to give up their prized possession or to kill themselves.

The influenced person would still have some part of them that they were unwilling to compromise on.

Asking Fraser to kill Milo was just her way of testing how willing he was to kill Milo.

Even though Fraser took some action, his body still responded in a way that held back from delivering a killing blow once given the order from her.

He did not hesitate in the brief moments to take action which meant he had already considered killing Milo.

He considered Milo as his lifeline so he could not discard him yet so his body responded in time to stop himself.

It was not yet time for Milo to die and he himself knew it.

Her influence was not enough to force him to kill Milo.

The offer of Pixel being a hostage was just too enticing of an offer for him.

She was the center of everything so she would make a valuable hostage and would be much higher value than Milo.

The offer came with the added effects of the charm so he was too focussed on it to think about where anything could go wrong.

He hated Pixel so it was a way to get revenge on her while allowing a chance to escape.

He saw her approaching as they both locked eyes with one another.

Several Minks from behind her shouting out in the back.

"Young miss Pixel is so admirable.. to step forward for a family member even if he is a traitor."

"More like foolish."

"Pixel come back!"

"Let the young lady through!"

"Do not go!"

"It is a trap!"

Pixel walked closer and closer until she stepped upon onto the platform facing her brother and Fraser who hid behind him for protection.

A small smile was still on her face as she slowly stepped closer closing the distance. "You-chu~ can let him go now. I am coming to you."

The distance shortened with each step and so did the range in which her voice and charm had to travel.

The guards around Fraser stood nearby as if awaiting orders but they seemed to be frozen on the spot.

Just as Fraser lowered his arm a little as if responding to her request, the amber eyes of Pixel widened before narrowing slightly.

A powerful wave of Conquerors Haki swept over those in front of her hitting Frazer first.

A familiar feeling hit him which was like it had happened once before but it was already much too late.

His body felt heavier and his spirit felt like it was being crushed to the point of him collapsing.

Milo felt the same as everyone else so his consciousness began to slip away quickly.

Just as his body was freed up and falling a little, sparks of Electro appeared at his side along with a small blurred figure. "Double Team."

The blurred figure of Pixel kicked out towards him and sent him flying down from the platform before a large bright light flashed in the middle of those that stood within that range.

A large Electro Sphere was generated in both hands of Pixel before being slammed down onto the platform floor.

The Electro Sphere burst apart spreading it in all directions hitting anyone close including the guards of Fraser who had either lessened their vigilance due to her charm or had been affected by her release of Conquerors Haki.

Pixel knew that using electric type attacks against Minks was something that would not be as effective as others but that did not matter under certain circumstances.

The first circumstance was that flashy attacks could not be reduced from having an effect of blinding them or creating a moment when their eyesight was obstructed.

The second was that explosive or heat based effects from attacks could play a much bigger role especially when burns were caused or attacks played a role to knock an opponent back.

The third was that each Mink only had so much resistance to electric attacks since they were able to wield it themselves.

Even back in her previous world, the principle was the same.

The electric Pokémon with the biggest electric power when faced with another electric Pokémon was usually the one to come out the winner unless the other had a wider variety of moves or had an ability like Lightning Rod.

The Minks may have been able to generate and channel their own Electro but they did not possess absolute immunity when it came to a power of Electro greater than their own.

Grunts and screams of pain came from within the flash of light on the platform followed by the flickering movements from within.
