65. Wizened eyes

The next day, RuQian and her friends got through their boring day, listening to the whispers about Wan Wan being able to go to the party, the party that had been the talk of the town for the past three months.

Other people who received invitations from Lan Xie were humble on the other hand and did not publicize them being invited to the same party. They did invite their friends to the party though as all of the invitations had a plus one option.

So without everyone knowing almost the whole school was going to the party. But amongst the whole school only five people knew who the granddaughter of old master Zhang was.

And Lu Xu Mei was seething with anger as in just another two weeks the rest of the school would find out how rich RuQian was. Until now RuQian was only known for being Su Ting's daughter whom he didn't care for.

Of course, no one knew she was Su Ting's daughter too but many of the high society families knew Su Ting only doted on her and that he did not give any attention to RuQian.

But Lu Xu Mei was always happy because RuQian craved for his attention, she stayed in his mansion and waited for him everyday, hoping he would talk to her. But her father was busy spending time with her and her mother.

All that had changed recently, RuQian had not only left the mansion but had gone to that old crone Zhang. Now she had all the money and that old crone was also holding this huge party for that slut RuQian. Lu Xu Mei was sure that RuQian was fucking that crone Zhang.

"Dad, Are you coming to sister's party?" She asked Su Ting. She had taught herself to be polite and act like a timid girl when Su Ting was home so that he would never find out about her true intentions. He was the type of man who thought women were idiots and that they should be quiet and innocent. That was the reason he never liked Zhang LiQian, even though she was his wife. She was very similar to RuQian in the sense that she fought for things she felt were right with fierceness. And Su Ting hated that with his entire being.

"What sister? You don't have any sister." Su Ting retorted angrily.

"B... but.. Isn't RuQian my sister?" Lu Xu Mei lowered her head as if she was afraid of this man.

Su Ting calmed down. 'Ah..This daughter of mine is very innocent. Hah.. She is my daughter, of course she is like this. That slut RuQian is just a bastard daughter anyways.'

"I wasn't angry at you Mei Mei but that girl even left the house, so don't think of her as your sister. Okay?"

"Ma...Maybe sister was just angry that you never spent time with her. B..but dad if she found out that I'm your daughter, will sister hurt me?"

"Nonsense! I will kill her if she does anything to you. You are MY, Su Ting's precious daughter, nothing will happen to you." Su Ting stormed out of the house.

Lu Xu Mei smirked after he left. 'Hah, it's so easy to rile up this idiot.'

Lu Xu Mei went to her room to make plans on how to embarrass RuQian in her own party. "I have to make sure everyone finds her disgusting and take her place. I will show everyone how she is nothing but a slut who uses her body to get what she wants and then I will show them how generous, sweet and innocent I am.

Hah! Everybody falls for the innocent act. I will make sure you rot in the depths of despair RuQian!" Lu Xu Mei chuckled evilly out loud. She always had the habit of talking to herself out loud this way.

Unbeknownst to her a pair of eyes filled with hatred for her looked upon her, as she revealed her plan out loud. The wizened eyes trembled with barely contained fury but slowly disappeared into the darkness of the hallway.

On the other hand RuQian was busy with her thoughts, she kept thinking about the information she had uncovered during her hack. She didn't understand why it was happening, so she tried to shove all of it to a corner of her mind, for now.

She knew she had to confront him but she was scared that she was thinking too deep. Maybe it wasn't how she thought it was.

RuQian groaned, frustrated by her thoughts, she was starting to get a headache.

"Qian Qian, you okay?" Lan Xie inquired, concerned for her friend.

"Huh?" RuQian broke out of her daze. They were in the car, driving to Lan Xie's home where she would change her clothes and then leave for the company to sign the contract.

"Yeah I'm alright. It's nothing." She closed her eyes trying not to think about those details again.
