24. Greed

RuQian met her trainer the next day, he was a yoga instructer. Her grandfather told her to exercise first. With her current physical abilities, she could not learn a sport as tough as martial arts, so she had to exercise and make sure her body was flexible enough. Yoga was the best exercise for flexibility so her trainer Don would train her. He also included some zumba workout.

Don was a very sweet guy. He trained her in yoga while his partner Dan was a zumba enthusiast so the couple, helped her train. They were so cute that RuQian snapped a few of their couple moments on her camera secretly, she did ask their permission first. They did not mind and Dan even asked her to send him the pictures later. Don was mostly a quiet guy while Dan was a whirlwind. They were the best examples of opposites attract.

RuQian spent most of her free time with them. When she introduced Lan Xie to the couple, Dan and Lan Xie hit it off immediately. They covered topics ranging from fashion to food. When Lan Xie and Dan sat down they would go on and on and on about anything and everything they could find to talk about. Most of the time Don had to drag Dan back home.

Their conversations were just too funny. One day Lan Xie told Dan about Chang Min, Lu Xu Mei and Wan Wan. Dan erupted into a fit of rage after he heard what they had done to RuQian. From then on Dan named them 'The three bitchetiers'. On tier one was Lu Xu Mei, on the second tier was Wan Wan and on the third tier was the ultimate bitch, as they called, Chang Min. RuQian had a lot of fun these past few days.

After a week, her bruises had disappeared, she had slight pain in her left leg. Unless she jumped up and down, she couldn't feel any pain. RuQian had to get her portfolio done, so she started searching for a suitable photographer. That was when RuQian remembered that one of her classmates Amy, a foreign exchange student, had become a top photographer in her past life. So RuQian wanted to use this opportunity to snag Amy and make her, her official photographer.

If she was good enough, she could negotiate and let Amy be the photographer for the company's advertisement. Thinking of this, RuQian asked Lan Xie for Amy's contact information and requested Amy to meet her at a nearby cafe. Amy was stunned at first but still said she would come to the cafe in an hour.

RuQian wore a yellow dress; with huge blue and pink flowers; that reached her ankles and paired it with a pair of peach coloured louboutines. She just put some mascara and applied a little lip gloss and left the rest of her face bare. She wore the bracelet that Lan Xie gifted her. When she entered the cafe she saw Amy seated at a table near the window. She wore blue jeans, a white sleeveless top paired with brown heels. She had on light makeup with a red lipstick, she looked pretty.

Amy was a little shocked when she received RuQian's call. RuQian had not shown up at school for two weeks now and had suddenly called her, so Amy did not understand what this was about. She always found RuQian obnoxious and pampered but for the past month there was no sign of that pampered girl anywhere. In her place she saw a calm and elegant girl with a very beautiful appearance in front of her.

She had rarely spoken to RuQian before so it was quite a shocker to receive the phone call.

Amy had rarely seen RuQian out of her uniform but this was the first time she saw someone so beautiful. Even the cafe workers' jaws dropped when they saw her enter. RuQian smiled at Amy and sat down. Amy stared stunned again when she saw RuQian smile. 'This woman was so gorgeous. Wait woman? No she is just a girl. What are you doing Amy?' Amy berated herself.

RuQian ordered some lemon tea and a strawberry cheesecake for herself and Amy ordered a frappuccino and some macarons. RuQian always had sweet tooth and she loved ice cream the most, so she always tended to order either one when she was dining out.

"Hi Amy, I believe we have never had the pleasure of having a conversation before?" Although RuQian held a questioning end to her sentence, both girls knew it was a statement.

"Yes, maybe it's because we have different interests?" Amy answered with another question.

RuQian smirked, "I called you here because we actually have similar interests." RuQian took in Amy's puzzled look but continued, "I am going to model for a company and I want you to be my photographer."

Amy sat there dumbfounded for the third time today. RuQian did not want to tell Amy which company she was trying for, she wanted to test Amy out first. RuQian checked Amy's background and found that Amy came from a very middle class family. She was a very simple girl but she loved photography. Seeing her passion her parents bought her the camera which professionals used, which was very expensive, but her parents did not mind. They wanted their daughter to be happy.

Amy had participated in many photography competitions and had won several prizes. She was indeed talented, that RuQian could see very clearly. RuQian was going to offer Amy a lot of benefits, but she did not want to reveal them just yet. RuQian wanted to test Amy's loyalty and character. She wanted to see whether Amy would succumb to greed and money.

"I will give you a lot of money and you only have to do one thing in return. You have to place a hidden camera in Wan Wan's bathroom and your work will be done." RuQian said nonchalantly sipping her tea.
