NEW YEAR SPECIAL - PART 1

Upon a hill, where one could oversee the city below. A woman dressed in red was standing tall. A white fox fur was don on her shoulders to shelter her from the cold weather.

Luckily, the winter wasn't bad this year. The Kingdom was at peace and in harmony. She lifted her hand and touch the tree beside her. There weren't any leaves on it, as if the tree was dead. She couldn't wait to see this tree as it comes back to life this spring. The tree becomes pink and it was a beautiful sight to see.

This tree didn't originate in their kingdom. It was one of the things that she discovered during her youthful rebellion. Ever since she fell in love with this tree, she vowed to have one planted in the future. As soon as she settled down, she had gotten her wish come true. Her husband had given it to her to show his devotion to his love for her. He planted it on this hill himself to show the whole world know that he only belongs to her.

She smiled as she remembered him planting the small tree sapling. His soft jade hands were covered with dirt. As he dug the soil, some of it got stuck on his dragon robes. As he wiped the swear off his face, his dirty hands smudge some dirt on it. It was a rare sight to behold. His loyal subjects were frightened the first time that they have heard of his plans to do it himself. They shook in fear when they seen him covered in dirt and mud. She couldn't help but giggle every time she remembers it.

It had been 5 years ever since they had been together. The tree sapling had grown up but it was still considered as a young tree. Her eyes looked towards the peaceful city again. It had been quite a journey. She never thought that her endpoint was going to be like this.

The time when she ran away, the places she had been and the people she had met. It all seems like a dream now. She held her stomach to feel a small bump on it. Yes, she was pregnant. It was now her 5th month. Her husband was overprotective of her since she had a delicate pregnancy. If you asked her husband, he would never let her be standing on this hill and this cold weather. Just that, no one could fathom what she intends to do nor could someone change her mind.

That's right, she got out by herself. Without her husband's knowledge. It shouldn't take him too long to find her though. With the help of her friends and his subordinates, he should be able to find her. Luckily, she knew martial arts in this life. She had encountered a lucky teacher during her journey. That's how she managed to get out without his permission.

There were servants and guards, as well as her companions that she met during her journey. To the left side, there was her father Zheyu, her siblings (Zheqi, Zhefei, Zhefan, Hualou, Zhefeng) and her loyal servant Li Huangyu.

To her right, there was Gu Hongfe, Bai Fangzu, Yuan Dongming, Fang Jing, Su Wenshin, Tai Xingfu, Zhou Sheng and Xu Fengxin. 8 Handsome men who had confessed their undying love for her and to follow her to the ends of the world. One of them was her husband.

As her eyes met the eyes of his husband, she could feel gentleness on them and also a slight fiery gaze. He was mad or maybe beyond mad!
