Counting down the days

Why are you walking to class all by yourself?" Qin Mo asked Momo as they slowly walked to class.

Mo Danyi had taken a different path a few corners back as he was from the high school while they were from the middle school.

"Rouxin was in a hurry and walked to class all by herself." Momo explained feeling great ful to him and Mo Danyi for helping her out earlier.

"Why did something happen?" Qin Mo snooped already excited for any gossip that he could get for Danyi.

Momo looked conflicted as she seemed to be debating whether to tell him or not. Which meant something had indeed happened and he had to make a report.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't trust me." he relented with an exaggerated sigh.

"It's not like that look something happened to Rouxin but we are supposed to keep it a secret from her." Momo confessed cryptically but it was still enough for him to report.

"Its okay you don't have to tell me confidential stuff." he acceded before walking her to her classroom.

He took out his phone and made a phone call immediately after she had left after all Danyi would kill him if he kept the news from him after finding it out.

"What?" his familiar voice asked in irritation making him smile cheekily.

"Nothing I just thought you wanted me to tell if anything happened to Rouxin but it is fine if your busy." he teased before hanging up.

A second barely passed before his phone was ringing a laugh crept out his mouth a he picked up the call.

"What happened?" the voice asked anxiously not giving him a chance to say anything.

"I actually don't know and before you start to yell Rouxin also does not know what happened." he explained hoping to confuse him.

"How could she not know about something that happened to her?" his brother asked in puzzlement.

"Well according to Momo everyone is supposed to keep it a secret from her and everyone else." he answered as he walked into class.

"Okay then good job" his brother complimented before hanging up.

His phone remained in hand as he logged onto a mysterious app on his phone and furiously typed in something for a while before placing it inside the desk before looking up at their class teacher.

He barely focused for the entire assembly and class meeting as his mind came up with different scenarios but nothing prepared him for the videos he watched before the classes began.

Someone had pushed her it was not a shocking discovery but her reaction to the memory was what made his heart go cold.

He could still remember her shaking form as she screamed and sobbed before waking up the next day without a single clue of what had happened.

Now he understood why they were keeping it from her after all who would want her to remember something that terrified her that much.

And so it was everyone was lost in their own thoughts and lives none the wiser to her knowledge of the incident they all tip toed around her and acted like everything was alright.

It was at least in their view looking in but none of them knew just how good she had gotten at presenting the perfect facade that could deceive any one.

While she was slowly counting the days to the weekend when she would get to talk to someone about how she what she was supposed to do with this issue.

Luckily the week finally came to an end with no new incidents or issues. A normal peaceful week mostly spent in school.

Her family and friends were happy to finally see her smile with excitement as she packed her stuff for the orphanage. They would all be leaving in a couple more minutes.

Their parents had decided to join in on the fun when they had of the destination and the host. They had long wanted to meet their daughter's friend formally and would finally get a chance.

"We are running late everyone should get in the car." Rouxin loudly announced forcing everyone out of the house and to the huge family van they would be using.

They were all similarly dressed in polo shirts and trousers to facilitate movement later on in the day. Rouxin say at the front with the driver constantly giving him directions.

"She seems so excited." her mother commented with a happy smile.

"Its great seeing her like this we should let her do things like this more often." her dad indulged in fantasy not aware their daughter was excited to learn how to lie to them better.

The orphanage had been established lots of years ago by some philanthropists and it's old huge structure clearly showed it to all it's guest.

The building had been built to resemble the an old European castle that gave off an elite school vibe. Children could already be seen running around from the packing lot clearly excited for the day.

Her family climbed off the car and took in the splendid sight satisfied smiles beaming on their faces. She turned against them and stared at a familiar figure before approaching him.

Lu Sicheng was wearing a similar shirt to the ones her family had worn since he had been the one to send them over a few days earlier.

"You are here" he beamed excusing himself and walking to her.

"Yes we just arrived come meet my family." she said guiding him towards her family that had stood in place.

They were now joined by two familiar faces that were happily conversing with them only to go silent after seeing them walk over.
