As I was about to enter the reception area with mother usually sitting at her throne and mine beside her, I saw a beautiful and innocent girl looking at me for the first time but as if she knew me before. I looked at her eyes and hers talked to me like she is telling me that it’ll be okay. I pulled my eyes and looked away. I saw her shocked and pierced her eyes on the ground like she was hurt in a way.
I wanted to speak but I was so hurt about Elina’s decision to break up with me, so I stayed low and nodded my head as the princess and her companions smiled at me in my mother’s presence. While eating at the dining table, I excused myself and Princess Yuna’s gaze followed me until I was gone out of the dining hall.
I walked out of the palace and when I reached the gardens, I felt a hand reached out for my shoulder.
