Kissa opened her eyes and noticed she was already in her room. 

The last thing she remembered was conversing with Dina and now she was in her room?

But seeing Cairo, she knew the answer. "How did I get here?" Kissa asked. 

"You were drowning my lady. You lost control of your power and the water was starting to be on easy. The water in the pool doubled its height twice and you began to sink." Sabola explained and Kissa's lips formed the shape 'o' before she looked around her room. 

Kissa looked up at the painting of her and she sighed, remembering everything Dina said.

Asim didn't only kill her aunt. He also killed her mother, claiming he loved her.

"I want to be alone." Kissa demanded and everyone except Sabola left the room. "You knew I was her daughter and you didn't tell me."

"I am sorry my lady. I wanted her to tell you by herself. I've seen signs she's around frequently and then I knew she had to tell you the truth herself." Sabola replied with her head bowed. 

Kissa didn't say a thing, she remained quiet as she turned to look at the sky. 

The sky was gradually getting brighter, showing the beginning of the day was approaching.

Asim sat on his bed yawning gently. He didn't notice the heavy rain because he had retired earlier the previous night.

Lapis walked into his room with a scroll in her hands. 

"Good morning Pharaoh." She bowed and he nodded before standing up.

"It looked like Lady Kissa was doing something with her powers last night." Lapis said.

"What do you mean?" Asim asked.

"It stormed and rained heavily yesterday and some part of the palace was destroyed." Lapis explained and Asim looked at his wrist in confusion. 

"I should have felt the pull." Asim said as a golden shackle with a chain that stopped midair appeared on his wrist.

"I think the bond is breaking." Lapis said.

"That's not possible. The bond can't be broken." Asim frowned. "I shouldn't break until she loses her powers."

"It wouldn't break if she loses her powers too because she is not predictable. Someone as powerful as she is is always full of wonders." Lapis said.

A couple of maids walked out of the bathroom with their heads bowed as they saw the duo talking.

"Greetings to you Pharaoh, High lady Lapis. Your bath is ready, your highness." They both chorused.

"You both should leave." Asim ordered and they bowed before they walked out of the room.

"Bath me." Asim said as he stood up and Lapis nodded before following after him as he walked into the bathroom.

Lapis watched as Asim stripped and stepped into.the warm water. Her face turned pink as he walked in, soaking himself in the water.

"Do I have to tell you what to do before you do it?" Asim raised his brows in annoyance, making lapis quickly take her dress off, and leaving her in her chest band and panties. 

Lapis took a deep breath before stepping into the warm water and the warmth of the water made the hair on her skin stand.

Lapis swam towards him and took his washcloth before she started rubbing his back with it.

Truth is, Lapis had a crush on Asim since forever but he chose to keep her as his servant. 

Once in a while, they have moments like this because Asim knew she would never do that to another man because she was madly in love with him.

As soon as Lapis turned to his front to rub his chest with the washcloth, he grabbed her waist and a silent moan escaped her lips.

"I haven't even touched you yet Lapis." He said in a husky voice.

"Only touching you makes me aroused, my Lord." See sighed gently as he rubbed his hands down her back to her buttocks.

"Then should I give you what you've been yearning for?" He asked as he sucked gently on her neck.

"Yes my Lord. I want you." She groaned as she wrapped her arms around his neck for support.

Asim pulled her head back with her hair and their lips collided.

The sweet taste of coconut milk and honey filled Asim's mouth and he smirked gently.

He wouldn't admit it but he loved her kisses. Her lips were soft and she was so skilled at satisfying the way he wanted to be kissed.

Asim grabbed her waist and placed her at the edge of the pool before he started kissing her neck down to her breasts.

Lapis leaned back and supported her body with her arms as Asim kissed her tummy down to her waist.

"Finish the bath and get on with your daily duties." Asim sat back in the water like nothing happened at all.

Lapis almost cursed but she just obeyed his orders and left the room when she was done with him.

Lapis hurriedly walked out of the quarters and bumped into Cairo who was going back to his work.

"Follow me Cairo."
