Anger and Jealousy

Cairo didn't know what was going through Lapis' mind as they walked towards her quarters. 

He has been wondering since he arrived why she was the only palace worker that was given her own quarters separately.

The maids on the way into her Chambers bowed as they saw them walk by.

The maids were shocked because Lapis strictly forbade guards from entering her quarters and now Cairo was trailing behind her towards her bedroom.

The maids pulled the doors open and Lapis stepped into the room with a loud sigh. 

"Cairo." She said as she pulled off her robe and hung it on the rack in the room.

"Yes high Lady Lapis?" Cairo asked as she sat on her bed.

"Tell me Cairo, what is the relationship between you and Kissa?" She raised her brow and Cairo looked at her confused.

"What do you mean by that? I am the one who was assigned to guard her and I've been doing my best to prevent her from escaping." Cairo replied, making Lapis roll her eyes.

"Don't lie to me Cairo. I was told you spend time with her in her Chambers with none of the maids around. That's quite… suspicious." Lapis stood up and walked towards him.

"Is there like something between both of you?" Lapis asked. 

"Nothing at all high Lady Lapis." Cairo replied.

"So why are you always with her? You know since I first laid eyes on you Cairo, I didn't trust you to be someone transparent." Lapis said and Cairo looked down at her with his left brow raised. 

Just like Kissa, Lapis was short next to him which he found quite interesting because he didn't really notice it before.

"You know she is already owned by Pharaoh and there's nothing you can do about it." Lapis said as she trailed her fingers across his back.

"I don't want her high Lady Lapis. The relationship between me and Lady Kissa is strictly master and servant." Cairo tried to explain but Lapis stopped before him and placed her index finger on his lips.

"Cairo, does Kissa like you?" Lapis asked. 

"I already said Lady Lapis, I have nothing with Lady Kissa." Cairo said again and Lapis smirked. 

"Good then. Satisfy me Cairo." Lapis spread out her hands and Cairo looked at her in confusion. 

Was she drunk or something? She just picked him on the run and she's telling him to satisfy her? Satisfy her in what sense?

"Satisfy you how High lady Lapis? I don't understand what you're talking about my lady." Cairo acted innocent, making her sneer.

"Don't act all innocent now Cairo. I know there are lots of ladies out there who want you but you aren't giving them the chance." Lapis pulled his collar but he pulled back.

"You are someone I can never touch, High Lady Lapis. Please don't make this hard for me, my lady." Cairo said politely.

"You're not owned by anyone and since there's nothing between the only lady you're close to, I don't see the reason why I can't have you for myself." Lapis wrapped her arms around his shoulders and Cairo couldn't help but feel annoyed but he kept it.

"High lady Lapis…"

Lapis' lips came crushing up to his and Cairo was both shocked and rooted to the same position.

Lapis thrusted her tongue into his as she bit his lips teasingly. 

Kissa was laying on her bed gently with the back of her palm on her forehead and suddenly the eye of Horus and eye of Ra around her eyes shone.

Kissa sat up immediately and a strange feeling of both anger and jealousy filled her whole system. 

Sabola, who was arranging her room, noticed the sudden movements Kissa made.

"Is everything alright Lady Kissa?" She asked but Kissa didn't say a word. 

Kissa stood up and slipped her legs into her sandals. Not caring that she was wearing a light indoor cloth, she stormed out of the room. 

Ramla and Sabola quickly followed after her. She strode towards Lapis' quarters and the two maids ran behind her to keep up with her insane speed.

Lapis could tell something was wrong while Ramla still looked confused, thinking Kissa was hypnotized.

The maids saw Kissa walk into the quarters and they were shocked to see she didn't have her usual veil on. 

Her hair was up in a messy and curly bun with golden rings around some of the curls. 

Lapis' personal maid stepped in Kissa's way as she was about to step into Lapis' chambers.

"High lady Lapis is busy right now Lady Kissa. She wouldn't want any disturbance at the moment." Lapis' personal maid, Nanu stopped her from barging into the room.

Sabola and Ramla caught up to Kissa during this few seconds of delay.

"My lady…" Sabola panted.

"Nanu, get out of the way now or you'll get half of what's coming to your mistress." Kissa threatened with her hands curled into a fist.

"I am sorry my lady, but we can't allow "you" to step in while she is busy." Nanu said in a rude tone and before she knew it, a slap landed across her face.

"Get out of my way now." Kissa thundered as she walked past Nanu who grabbed her cheeks in shock. 

We couldn't believe she just got slapped by Kissa of all Pharaoh's women.

Lapis was still kissing Cairo who looked like he was under a spell because he still remained in his position.

The doors flew open and a raging Kissa appeared behind the door. Lapis immediately let go of Cairo and he could feel his bones again.

"What are you doing here Lady…"

Before Lapis could finish her question, a slap landed across her face.

"I don't need any word from that stupid mouth of yours Lapis."
