"LIKE HELL!" He roared into the non-existent skies as his fists smashed onto the floor – barely denting the fabric of reality – as his skin cracked slowly into tiny rivers with blood beginning to drown his body.

His voice was faint as it suddenly burst out.

His raw emotions exploded like an unstoppable avalanche.
"IF ONLY I COULD PROTECT EVERYONE!"
His voice was beginning to fade, and he knew that.
"But no..." He chuckled "It seems like I can't protect anyone but myself."
He could no longer expend anymore effort, because it seems even that was beginning to fade in this blank nothingness.
However, a crystal condensed into existence as it slowly dropped onto the solid lake of nothingness and the resulting effect was ripple, and soon waves.
