This is the first story on WN to impress me. Which is why I am giving it 5 stars! I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back for more (adding it to my collection now). That said I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys apocalypse or ‘walking dead’ theme genres. The details are gory but not overdone. The writing is detailed and easy to picture. It's just gross enough to make me love it. Just scary enough to make me anxious and keep me reading. The MC Shu seems a bit of an introvert, which I can totally relate too—but the depth of his loyalty to his friend Elliot makes him endearing even if he comes off a bit cold otherwise. I did mention a few areas for improvement, but they were minor confusion and suggestions. Overall, the story is very polished, edited, and just masterfully crafted.

Be it in terms of writing quality, creativity or development, this is easily one of the best stories on this site. So many original stories written here are of a lamentably poor standard, with poor grammar and stereotypical plot to satisfy pre**** angsty cravings. I can say with full sincerity that this story is a different existence, and one of the few original stories written at a professional standard. The characters are unique, interesting and captivating, the world is well designed with interesting mysteries and I have found myself reading with bated breath to find out more of the characters' backgrounds and cannot wait to see what happens next. I highly highly recommend this book, and hope that the BL tag will not stop any potential readers as while it is an important element, this story is well worth a read for its other aspects regardless.

This is a great story. I love everything about it. I'm new to webnovel, but this is amazing! The way the author describes everything and has created the characters make it very interesting and it has great action in it. It even has zombies and BL, which are both soft spots for me. 😍

Going into this novel, I did not know what to expect. Truthfully, I read a couple of reviews just to get a general idea on the readers' opinions and most were mainly positive. I decided why not just dive in. And oh am I grateful I did. This novel is simply, utterly, breathtakingly captivating in so many ways. The main ship is interesting, albeit morally dubious but It is so delectable to read about interesting characters that are not cookie-cutter people doing typical people things. It takes place during a zombie apocalypse and is extremely entertaining, you always want to know more, always strive to keep reading. If you are looking for an objectively good story with beautiful writing, fun dynamics, three-dimensional characters, actual funny dialogue, an interesting plot, AND surprisingly heartwarming romance then this is the novel for you. Many thanks to the author for creating such beautiful work.

This is a great novel, I'm absolutely fascinated by the Corrupted, it would be easier to call them zombies but they're clearly more than that and I can't wait to learn more about them, and what caused them to show up in the first place. Another great highlight in my opinion is the vivid writing, some of the descriptions of gore and decay are very visceral, and convey a real sense of dread, which is absolutely essential in a novel like this. There's a very moody quality to the narrative that sets the perfect tone for this bleak world, somehow even during more light scenes I can still feel sense of despair and unease. Shu is a great protagonist, he's very action driven and doesn't spend a lot of time wringing his hands in fear, he's quick to make decisions and very pragmatic. He has an acidic sense of humour that I find very appealing, but he also has a soft side that shines through in his interactions with the twins. The ML Glenn is great too, and I love how Shu doesn't really buy his suave noir vibe and is suspicious of him from the start, their banter is great and I'm looking forward to see how the relationship progresses. I think this is a great novel that everyone should check out especially if they'd like to read something darker and action-packed.

This novel deserves nothing less then 5 stars! Its outstanding, stand up an applaud for a brilliantly written and well planned out novel. The author put their heart and soul into the characters, each character is emotional, strong willed to survive the odds so alive and unique like fingerprints. Its fast paced action packed apocalyptic adventure with comedy to lighten up the darkness. I truly can't say enough about this novel once you start reading its impossible to stop like a train barreling down the tracks about to go through the tunnel unsure whats on the other side. Im on pins and needles waiting each week for the next chapter, and its never a let down!!!

When it comes to vocabulary, I have not seen any misspelled words or terms. The paragraphs are not that long and not that short. The length is precise. Stability of Updates This is an automatic five stars for me! I assume the author updates frequently so his/her readers won't be left behind. Aside from this, there are a total of nine chapters so far. Story Development There are nine chapters, and it seems to me that the story has a perfect flow. It's not fast and it's not slow either. When it comes to details, the author only described what's important, unlike other authors who describe everything just for the sake of increasing word count. World Background I have no complaints when it comes to the world background. The descriptions are vivid and unique. The readers can portray what the author wants the portray. When it comes to the dialogues, it seems genuine and well-thought. Characters When it comes to the characters, the author has a unique way of describing their characteristic. Each character has a unique nature(Characteristic) which is one factor that I love in this book. Overall: This book will be given a total of five stars! Probably the best apocalyptic story I read on this app 😍 It had all the things I love ! Smart-ass and beautiful mc, the second lead was so my type ! They both were so cute and funny together ! The perfect duo 🥰 The story was interesting and not too horrific !
