Going into this novel, I did not know what to expect. Truthfully, I read a couple of reviews just to get a general idea on the readers' opinions and most were mainly positive. I decided why not just dive in. And oh am I grateful I did. This novel is simply, utterly, breathtakingly captivating in so many ways. The main ship is interesting, albeit morally dubious but It is so delectable to read about interesting characters that are not cookie-cutter people doing typical people things. It takes place during a zombie apocalypse and is extremely entertaining, you always want to know more, always strive to keep reading. If you are looking for an objectively good story with beautiful writing, fun dynamics, three-dimensional characters, actual funny dialogue, an interesting plot, AND surprisingly heartwarming romance then this is the novel for you. Many thanks to the author for creating such beautiful work.

I'm incredibly grateful to receive such a review! I was honestly doubtful that this type of novel coupled with my writing style would accumulate any readers here on WN. It's a platform predominantly filled with much simpler, 2D and often flatter characters. I've noticed readers don't exactly like to absorb details as much here. To see this novel be well-received is very encouraging! Thanks so much :) On the comment of the main couple moral dubiousness... LOL it is so true š but maybe Shu can be considered less strange than 90%-100% of his companions

I have also grown immensely attached to his character and find myself wanting to just give him a hug sometimes. I loved learning more about him and his background. He is one of a kind).
