Peter and Margot's Selfishness

Peter is a young man who has the soul of a being from another world. He possesses memories from before his transmigration. The world where he arrived is that of a story that he knows. Here Peter has the Villain's body. The protagonist of the story that Peter meets is also a transmigrator, the Hero. The hero has a fair, naive personality and at the same time is an expert in scientific knowledge. This personality trait of his implies a disadvantage whenever he becomes involved in a narcissistic feeling in relation to knowledge. Knowing this fact, Peter must prepare to ensure that the Hero manages to defeat the evil that threatens the world. In addition, he must control the new threat that the hero brings with him. This new threat that he will be aware of later is still unknown. Peter has to force himself into the plot of being the villain of the story in the eyes of the world. This is a journey that he cannot achieve alone, so it is here that he allies himself with Margot who together with him prepares to face the problems of the world while aiming for his personal benefit. Both Peter and Margot are not altruistic people, nor are they entirely cruel, they are just people determined to achieve what they want no matter how much it costs them to do so.

Chapter 1 - New World

The room is silent, as the morning glow comes in through the window. On the bed in the room there is a completely unfazed child sleeping in silence.

Time passes, suddenly, the child begins to move slowly. The boy sits on the bed, while he rubs his eyes.

- That was a strange dream.

Last night after going to sleep, I dreamed that I was in a dark place. At some point I could see a shining light approaching, to be precise, it was more like the floor I was on was moving towards the light. The place was completely empty and dark, if not for the bright light. In the end, the light swallowed the entire place and my vision was filled with bright white, ending my dream just like that.

- Maybe I thought too much about the shooting star before going to sleep.

I feel very comfortable, it seems like I had a phenomenal rest last night. I get up and at that moment I realize that I am in an unfamiliar environment.

- What is this? Where am I?

I look around at an unfamiliar room. The appearance is simple and poor. This is because the structure appears to be made of wood and the room only has a bed, a small nightstand, and a simple wooden piece of furniture.

- What's wrong with my voice?

My voice sounds like a child's. While thinking that, I put my hand closer to my throat and noticed that they were the hands of a child. At this moment my mind goes blank. Thus, a silent moment passes in which I just contemplate without moving.

- It's not possible....

I decide to get up and go to the bedroom window. As I look outside, a beautiful and strange landscape comes into my vision.

- I am definitely no longer in Bogotá.

What I can see outside are stone streets busy with people with peculiar appearances. Everything looks similar to the pre-industrial era. The sky is sunny and there are not many clouds. I can also see constructions, some made of wood and others that seem to be made of some type of stone.

- I know this place, but it is not possible, this is the place of my dreams!

It really is the dream I had. If this is real, maybe what I dreamed about last night really happened.

- Calm down, you must analyze your surroundings and find out what is happening.

I look at my body again and accept that I am a child now. The process of how this happened is not something I can understand. However, since I find myself in this situation I have no choice but to accept it. The reality is that now I am a child, that I find myself in this world. This means I don't know how long this will last or if it may ever be reversed. Because of this, I must adapt to my new context and find a way to live here.

I start searching all over the room. I walk over to the nightstand and open the drawer. There I found a mirror. So I take it and look at myself.

- It just can't be!

I know this child. His name is Peter and he is one of the people I saw through my dreams. In the story I wrote, this character is a villain who dies.

My text "the path of the will" is the webnovel story where I narrated all the events that I had ever dreamed of. In this story, Peter, the boy whose body I find myself in, is a cruel man. He is a villain who on numerous occasions caused harm to the protagonist of the story. This ultimately leads to his death when he is defeated.

The process of Peter's death is an important step in the story. The protagonist of "the path of the will" is the only person with the characteristic of facing the great evil that threatens to extinguish the life of this world. That protagonist only manages to grow enough after murdering Peter, to later be able to embark on his path to save the life of this world.

The problem is that now that I'm Peter, I can't allow that story to happen. On the other hand, if it doesn't happen, the protagonist may not be able to face the great evil and ends up dying for his entire life, including me.

While I am immersed in my thoughts, I hear someone's footsteps approaching. Then, before I could react, the door was opened.

- Good morning, Young Peter, I can see that you are already awake.
