Chapter 11: Being A Cool Protagonist

Raising her head, she hummed and with a wave of hand, a simple black sword appeared. Not minding Xiurong's queering gaze, I thanked her and jumped on the stage.

"Seems like your relationship with those girls is extraordinary. How about a bet for this match?" Kui Yang remarked with a taunting smile.

I knew what was going in his small mind but this can be entertaining in its own way. "Ohh... what's the bet?"

"If I win, lend them to me for a night." He gestured towards Qinlian and Xiurong.

I peeked towards girls from the corner of my eyes but they didn't seem to be bothered in the least. Hey! Pay attention!

After a defeated sigh, I slyly asked, "and how do you know I am more than their acquaintance? Lending them to you? I don't have authority over them."

All this happened within an instant. After I stopped, the frozen atmosphere released and it created a gush of violet winds, blasting my opponent off of the stage, lacerating him in wounds.

Under the awestruck gazes of everyone, I calmly sheathed the sword and sauntered down the stage, exuding the protagonist aura.

I may be cool and collected on outside but inside I was laughing in fascination. After all the beatdown from my girlfriend, I finally seem to be improving. She didn't press the matter and asked something I honestly wouldn't say I didn't saw coming. "What was that sword art? I have never seen it."

"That? When I was in lower realm, I picked a run-down manual from pawn shop. It described this art, its called 'Chicken Slaughtering Sword Art'." I gave the prepared answer, same as Xiurong's case.

After a brief pause, she lightly said, "if you don't want to tell me, you don't need to feed me lies."

I mused that the reply I got was the in the same lines of Xiurong's. Clearly they didn't believe me. I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Forget it, Sister Qinlian. He always regurgitated the same line to me."

Qinlian glanced at me and then at Xiurong. "You guys seem quite close."

Xiurong expressed a friendly smile towards me. "Yeah, we are neighbours after all."

I hummed alongside. Guess I now knew Xiurong excels at acting too.

"I see..." Qinlian nodded and then gracefully stood up. "I will be going back now."

"Do you wanna join us for lunch?" Xiurong suddenly asked.

Shaking her head lightly, she denied. "Not today."

"Is that so? Then, someday."

We waved our hands as Qinlian's figure disappeared.

"What? Are you my wingman now?" I rotated my eyes towards Xiurong.

"Since you seem so interested in her, I thought I should help you." Trembling a little in intimidation, she added, "And you are also a beast in bed, these last few days, you are only getting more demanding. I cannot fullfill your lust alone any longer. It is frustrating to share you, but I need assistance from others."

I gave a hearty laugh at her reasoning, getting a twisted lips in return.

Other than that, Both methods of obtaining SP basically follows the same principle. If you kill or had sex with someone at 3rd Level of Qi Assimilation, you will 300SP. Tenth of the upgrade price. But if you bed a virgin women, you will get 5x: 1,500SP.]
