WE SHOULDN'T BREAK HER TRUST

'Please don't break my heart in the future.'

ShenYi knew there's reason why they keep on hiding some matters away from her. She knew that for them, she's not yet matured to learn about deeper things. Thus, she could only understand them, for now.

"Don't bother yourself about it mama, I know what I'm doing. I've become wary ever since the past issue. I'm doing well." ShenYi concealed her doubts and reassured her mom.

"B-But Little Yi, always keep that reminder in mind. I felt that Zhang Feng isn't good to you." Cai Sheng insisted her thoughts.

Before she could respond, Cai Sheng smiled and said something.

"Hao, let's not talk about it further. After checking your room, rest on the sofa, I'm going to check on your dad."

"En. I'm going to visit my room first."

Cai Sheng then entered their room while ShenYi headed to her quarter.

Creak!

"What did ShenYi told you?" Cai HongBai asked her as soon as she entered the room.

"I already advised her not to befriend Zhang Feng, but she explained to me that she's alright, we don't have to worry." Cai Sheng replied.

"The Zhangs' ancestors were friends with the Feis. We need to convince her to avoid him before the matter between them deepens."

"HongBai...." Cai Sheng was worried.

Cough! Cough!

"Sweetheart, don't be anxious. I know it's hard for me to hide this thing for ShenYi, but we need to ensure her safety. Remember what happened to her mother way back then."

"Honey, do you think we can hide this to her forever? She's now getting closer to her identity.... We shouldn't break her trust." Cai Sheng told him while patting his back.

Cai HongBai tightened his grip on her left hand.

"I know ShenYi is an intelligent girl. I'm sure she can understand us if she found out the truth. And what more important is, we shouldn't break our promise towards Madam Fei."

"But-"

"You're scared that she will despise us after learning the truth?" Cai HongBai continued.

"Y...yes..." Cai Sheng couldn't hold back her emotions anymore and started to cry.

Cough! Cough!

"Ai, I'm sorry, I made a wrong decision of.... bringing our family here in Beijing."

"Don't blame yourself. Don't stress yourself about it. I could handle ShenYi's matters." Cai Sheng sobbed but she managed to calm Cai HongBai.

Erasing her doubts earlier, ShenYi enjoyed seeing her room.

"Ah, It's nice to be back! The bed is so comfy!" She plunged herself and bounced her back to bed.

The room was very bright. It was painted baby pink, but it doesn't look girly at all. It somehow gives off a light mood and relaxing atmosphere.

While laying lazily, she remembered something.

"Oh right! I have to contact Yu Li and Han Ri. I haven't checked on them yet."

She sent them a text but it failed. She tried to dial them but she can't. She was agonized thinking that Han Ri and Yu Li were going to worry if they couldn't contact her.

"Ai, there's no signal here!"

She sulk for a moment until she thought of an idea.

"Hmmm.... Maybe there's a signal outside. When the rain stops, I'll tell Mom I'm going to stroll around." She fixated her plan and continued to hug her pillow and roll herself below the blanket.

In the past, ShenYi was only able to stay in her room for a week because the classes were starting and she had to stay on dorms. She really seized the opportunity to feel the entire area.

As she was done checking every corner in her room, she decided to go to kitchen for some refreshments.

After drinking, she was disturbed by someone who was knocking the door.

Seeing that her parents doesn't coming outside of the room, she initiated to open the door.

As she opened the door, she saw a handsome man before her. She felt he's older than Zhang Feng, by six years. He looked wealthy and masculine. ShenYi could guess than he was like more of a CEO.

"Sir, can I ask who you are?" ShenYi asked him politely.

The man opposite to her was awestruck. He never thought his employee would have a daughter who's such a beauty.

"Mr. He!" Cai Sheng's voice sounded at the back.

"Sir, Miss Cai ShenYi safely went towards her parent's house." Xi Jin dialed Zhang Feng.

"Mhm."

"But, sir they have a visitor today."

Zhang Feng's eyes darkened.

"It is the He Family's Eldest Young Master, He MingZi."

Zhang Feng's dark eyes turned into fifty shades darker.

"Continue."

"S-Sor...ry sir.... the... signal here is... w-weak....."

However, despite of weak signal, Zhang Feng still understood Xi Jin's last words. Thus, Zhang Feng's irritation rose up. He immediately hanged up the phone.
