Seeing the scenario in front of her, she wanted to run towards Zhang Feng but she stopped when the Old Master Zhang spoke at the microphone.

Fei ZhangWei was blushing hard after hearing other people's remarks. Her mother, Fei XinLei was glimmering with excitement.

Meanwhile, ShenYi kept on hearing comments from other people. She was now starting to feel down but she knew in herself that Zhang Feng would never agree to that.

'ShenYi, calm yourself. Hold on to your promises.'

Zhang Feng knew this was going to happen. He already planned to ran away after the program. Though the whole Fei Household was present, he wasn't afraid.

However what he didn't expect is that the papers were presented infront of them.

"Grandpa, what is this?" He whispered.

"Ai, that's a form the strengthens your engagement. Don't worry, the marriage certificate will be the next after you get married." Zhang LingTian said.

Zhang Feng gritted his teeth. Someone handed him a pen. He subconsciously looked up and met ShenYi's eyes.

He was terrified seeing ShenYi. He didn't want her to see such an awful event like this.

He had to escape. He knew ShenYi was holding on to their promise.

He looked at ShenYi's calm eyes. However, only him could see the sorrow and mist in her sight. He could penetrate the emotions laid behind those eyes. She may appear calm outside, but she was very anxious and tensed. On the other hand, ShenYi was giving him courage and strength.

As he was going to retract his hand from the pen, his eyes saw something unfamiliar.

He almost gasped when he saw it. His eyes flickered with worry and uneasiness.

He looked above ShenYi and saw a gunman hiding from the window of the second floor from the opposite building. The sniper was aimed towards his girlfriend's position.

He was in panic and didn't know what to do. He shouldn't underestimate his grandfather's words.

Zhang LingTian already knew who ShenYi is.

"What are you waiting for? ZhangWei already signed it. Sign yours too." Fei XinLei said. At her back stood her husband, Li ZiTao, Fei ZhangWei's father. Though he was her father, Fei DuBao wanted that his granddaughter would carry the surname of Feis since Li ZiTao came from a family with a lower status than them.

Li ZiTao was also excited because of the marriage. His family business would be successful after the wedding.

For the last time, he looked at ShenYi, who was staring straight at him.

ShenYi wanted to yell out and reveal herself to save him, but she choke back her words when Zhang Feng spoke.

"Alright. I'm agreeing with the marriage." Zhang Feng signed while smiling.

"Do you like ZhangWei, grandson?" Zhang LingTian pressured him.

Everyone was applauding cheerfully. They had to make sure that these families would be their business partners in the future.

However, ShenYi's hand tightened it's grip towards her handbag. His words made her heart shattered. She could only see Zhang Feng's smile while writing his signature.

She knew there's a reason behind.

But why didn't he tell her his plan? Agreeing to a marriage isn't something he could easily back out.

She looked like an idiot there waiting for nothing. It's better that she didn't speak out first, or else, she would turn into a laughing stock in front of all people.

All of her efforts and plans for his birthday were crashed when he heard those words from him.

She thought he would fight for it, but why did he surrender too early?

She's not wavering yet, yet he already made his own decision.

She held back her tears and ran out of the residence as fast as she can.

Zhang Feng tried to find ShenYi with his eyes but he couldn't.

He knew that she would burst out.
