3 (new Londo) and (firelink)

when Percy got off the elevator he could smell the water in the air. even smelling the water made him stronger but something told him not to touch the water.

Percy took the stairs and found [soul of a nameless soldier] so now he has 4 total "soul items".

Percy walked forward and saw another undead but the undead seemed passive. was Percy going to spare it? no.

he'll rather kill it now than have it backfire on him.

Percy two-handed his axe and stabbed him in the back. the undead turned to dust and he got the souls.

[414]

Percy looked around and found lots of undead, so he killed them all one by one. they died easily in one hit and he got a decent amount of souls from them.

[642]

Percy also found a stairway descending and killed an undead to his right and killed him.

he picked up the soul item.

[666]

he got a sword called [estoc]. he didn't have the required "stats" to use the weapon so he stuck to his axe.

he continued his way down and when he killed an undead he hit the jar next to him and on that corpse was [transient curse x2]

[transient curse: temporary curse allows engagement with ghost]

Percy shivered, something about ghost just freaked him out. Percy looked at the bridge that looked like it would fall apart and walked over it.

call it a gut feeling but he knew that the bridge wouldn't break on him so he crossed it.

when Percy stood on this circular stone building connected to another bridge he could see another soul item.

when Percy was about to reach the end of the bridge he saw a white creature with two daggers for hands.

Percy saw it coming for him and backed up. and when he got a certain distance away the ghost went away.

....Percy wanted the soul item. his greed for soul items was making him loot-hungry.

he walked forward with his shield up and the ghost hit through his shield. Percy tried to attack but his axe went through the ghost causing him to retreat to the stone platform.

Percy pulled out the [transient curse] and squeezed it in his hand. there was a white glow this time and he challenge the ghost to claim his soul item.

Percy killed the two but when he got his soul item he got stabbed in the back by three more ghosts.

[YOU DIED]

Percy grunted as he awoke back at the bonfire. he pulled out the [fire keeper's soul] and decided to take it to the fire keeper that was in the bars.

Percy sat Infront of her and handed her the soul. she looked up and held the soul and pointed at his hip.

Percy looked down at his estus flask and gave it to her. She held the soul and the estus flask and there was a soft glow and now it was upgraded.

[estus flask +1]

she gave him back his estus. Percy nodded his head and wrote "thanks" on the ground.

she didn't respond again.

Percy went back to New Londo and tried getting back his soul, but on the bridge, he tripped and fell into the water.

[YOU DIED]

Percy nearly cried. he just lost almost 1200 souls. but he couldn't... no he had to man up and suck it up to find his mother.

so killing the ghost even with his axe doesn't help much. the damage was low, and he hasn't tried his pyromancy when he had the curse active. he was lucky enough to get a Golden drop with more curses.

so now Percy was in a dilemma, skeletons or ghosts. the ghost was harder to kill than the skeletons, but the skeletons can parry.

... that's it, he can learn how to parry properly with the skeletons. see he can attract both of them and kill one until he learns how to parry.

it would suck and I would die a lot but what more do I have to lose? my will was undeniable and I will not submit to death. even if it dragged him to the afterlife.

Percy got up from the bonfire and went back to the graveyard. this time he scanned it and saw a lot of soul items, but also a lot of bones...

"that's suspicious..." Percy narrowed his eyes at the bones.

although his eyes may not be the best in this body he was still able to... sense? the magic in the bones.

after he tripped in the water that killed him he seemed to have gotten stronger... was he going to test that theory? no, dying hurts.

Percy lured the skeletons over to a better fighting area. he killed on and forced his axe to disappear.

1st attempt... fail...2...56...34... and finally by the 75th parry he could do it properly. he can do it every time now. it was a total of 75 death but did Percy let that stop him? hell no.

in fact, it made him work harder. can you imagine how many times he had to die to get the parry just right? hell, he was a pro.

of course, since his weapon had durability he had to use his fist. he never killed a skeleton like that... does that mean he'll try again later? of course.

he made a promise to come back and pain them back a thousandfold.

Percy sat at the bonfire and stared at the clouds for a while.

"... I miss thou, Mother," Percy said.
