10 (blightown) (undead perish)

"quelaag?" the white spider lady's voice was heard in my head.

(I should note that the spider waifus conversation is all in their head. since Percy physically can't talk.)

Percy could feel it... this girl is constantly suffering... constantly in pain. Percy gently reaches forward and gently pats her head.

Percy's mother would always do this for him whenever he was scared or upset.

it seemed to work. the fair lady leaned into the head patting and her pain seemed to ease a lot.

I looked into my inventory and saw I had 15 humanity, I was going to give it to her, but I realized I would need a lot more to help her.

little did Percy know that this would be the start of Percy's experimenting with magic. and how he would create a new legend... of the unrivaled healer...but well we will get to that.

Percy rested at the bonfire again and this time he leveled up.

Percy made his way back to quelaag, and honestly, these girls needed to learn how to wear proper clothing... sure they were beautiful, but gods he was too young to see that.

...what would his mother say.

"...you joined my sister covenant I see," quelaag said as she bent over to see me.

I nodded my head.

"...that was thy sister was it not?" I asked.

quelaag looked at me before ultimately deciding to answer.

"she is... we had another... but we have long lost contact." quelaag said.

I nodded my head.

"...I have to leave ... need to find another bell to ring. it was nice meeting you" I said.

...

Percy began searching for the other bell. for days, nothing. at least until he went to undead perish. because right there was a fog wall.

of course, he had to get past a lot of enemies, mainly undead. but Percy went through the fog wall.

Percy didn't even make it halfway through the room when a gargoyle fell from the sky and began attacking him.

death, upon death, upon death.

Percy began losing track of how many times he's been killed.

but Percy managed to get the gargoyles to half health and another spawned. so now Percy was in the process of getting double-teamed and having to fight for his life.

but finally, Percy killed the gargoyles after much blood sweat, and tears.

Percy climbed the ladder and then another one. at the top Percy stood just admiring the view of everything.

everything looked so beautiful and so...broken.

Percy sat against the wall completely exhausted. more like mentally exhausted.

since physically he doesn't get tired. after all, dying many times would leave a scar on anyone.

but was this going to affect me? hell no it won't it'll only make me stronger. besides... I forgot how many times I have been killed by the undead or bosses.

[total 692]

Percy then pulled the lever and rang his second bell of awakening. however, he proceeded to fall to his knees.

a vision of a door being pulled open flashed across his thoughts. a giant had pulled a chain and the large gate opened.

and the best part... I knew where this was.

it was near Andre the blacksmith. so Percy slide down the ladders and ignored the sketchy man in the black outfit and made his way to Andre.

however, Percy just sat against the wall and stared at the open gate. Percy ... just didn't want to go in yet.

Percy felt there was too much to explore that he was missing.

Percy leaned his head against the wall and then he closed his eyes to sleep. just mentally exhausted from everything that happened recently.
