I get cheated on by my girlfriend

Why? Why do these things keep happening to me? I asked myself as I ran from camp in tears.

*flashback*

It was a beautiful day as the azure blue waves crashed into the seashore. I was just returning from getting a ring from Hephaestus for Annabeth when I heard a kissing sound coming from the bushes beside the Athena cabin.

I ignored it as I thought that it was some random couple but soon froze in shock at what I heard next.

"I'm going to dump that son of a bitch " It was Annabeths voice…

I couldn't hold myself back anymore and burst through the bushes to see ares making out with my girlfriend who did not look like she was trying to stop him. In fact, she looked like she was having the time of her life. I was so shocked that I accidentally stepped on a branch and it snapped, alerting the two who looked up from their make out session "p-Percy I thought you would come back later." Ares just looked up and said "oh ur back I thought u died"

I was so angry that the earth started shaking,the sky became stormy and the tides crashed against the shore nearly causing tidal waves each time they hit the shore "w-why?" I stammered. Why were the fates so cruel to me? Did I do anything to deserve this? The more I thought about it, the angrier I became.
