CH.16 Playing With A Owl

After taking a well-deserved shower I went back to the camp to get something to eat in the mess hall, one of the downsides of having a strong body as mine is that it needs more fuel to burn and as such need to eat more than a regular human.

It's not that I need to eat a huge amount of food like a Saiyan just more than a regular person, arriving in the mess hall there were already a few people and nymphs severing food. They started whispering when they saw me and when I walked near the nymphs and satyr they would start shaking or run away from me.

It doesn't bother me I know the reputation my father has and also the vibe that I give out, so I took my food and went onto a random table. When I sit down I could swear the whispering got louder, as I was eating through a certain person soon came into the mess hall, a grey-eyed girl, it seems that the daughter of Athena ' I guessed because I'm starting to realize that the mythological world has never heard of the word diversity because almost every sibling looks the same and act almost the same, Hermes kids where an example of that but after going around the camp and seeing it I can see how the children take the jobs of their parents with Hephaestus working in the forge and me as a child of hades being emo, it does bring the question if its something more making us go that way or if it's our own choice' found me and was marching towards me.

"You," she said pointing at me with malice on her face.

I stopped eating a chicken which was from what I could tell magical delicious because no chicken could be this juicy and stared at her for a few seconds and then went back to eating.

"Arg, just cause you're a son of the big tree, you think you can do whatever you want," she said angrily.

"Yes," I said still eating and ignoring her.

She didn't say anything and just stared at me, then she sat at a table and when I looked at her, she had a smirk on her face as if knowing something that I didn't know. I dint pay any attention and just kept eating, that was until a dew people came into the mess hall, these people look like they trained all their lives, they were an army of jock and jrotc kids all rolled into one being and they came to where I was sitting.

Leading them was surprisingly for the group a girl, I say surprised because I could smell the testosterone from here. The first thing that I noticed about the fire was that she had an angry resting face, the second was she was tall just about my height, the last and weirdest one was she was unnaturally big and had too much muscle, I mean I know that where demigods, but I don't think women have enough testosterone to have that much muscle.

She and her army came to my table and surrounded me, I, of course, ignored them which in turn made them angry.

"Well, well well, not even one day in the camp and he has enough balls to sit at our table, you must think you're better than the rest of us don't," the girl said angrily.

"Just cause you death breaths kid doesn't mean shit, normally we would teach you a lesson but I've got a better idea, how about we give him a proper camp half-blood welcome," she said with a smirk making the other men smirk as well.

At this point, I already finished my meal and knew what was going on, first, these kids are Ares, kids, with so much anger and testosterone it not hard to figure out, second, the grey-eyed girl knew that this was the area kids table and dint say anything, third the children of Hade, Zeus, Poseidon or the big three has a reputation for being arrogant jerks, which would likely because your parents would be the strongest in the pantheon. After knowing that I decided instead of fighting I should just apologize for no need to fight for a stupid reason such as this.

"I'm sorry I didn't know this was your table, I'm new as you can tell," I said standing up and staring the girl in the eyes.

"Does it look like I care," she said with a smirk.

"Get him," she said.

But nothing happened when she looked around, she saw that all her brothers were now stuck unable to move, this right here was a skill that I recreated from Naruto, it was the skill that the Nara clan used, the ability to stop someone by trapping their shadow and control them. It wasn't easy learning this skill as you can't just control stopping someone's shadow like that, that I unless you're in the shadow realm.

The skill is pretty simple, all I do I create tentacles with my shadows and send them into the shadow realm, in the shadow realm they each teleport under the bottom feet of a person and attach themselves there, making a person glued down to a spot. Of course, they can still move but have you tried attacking someone with being able to move your feet, it takes someone of great skill to do that and I know these kids don't have that skill.

With them stuck there I took my plate and put it with the empty plates and then left the mess hall, I would have gone far if it wasn't for the grey-eyed girl calling me.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!" she yelled making me stop in my tracks.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!" she yelled at me when she got close enough.

To that question I just stared at her with a blank face "did you need something from me" I said with a monotone voice.

"ARG, why did I think he is the one," she said angrily.

"Why are you so madding about it," I said.

"What am I so madding about," she said shocked.

"How about the fact that you keep ignoring me and ran away when I tried to talk to you," she said angrily.

"First I don't know who you are and why you were looking for me and I didn't run away I just went to take a shower because I was sweaty," I said calmly.

She looked at me and took a deep breath to calm herself down "fine I'm the bigger person, let's start over my name is Annabeth chase" Annabeth said and brought her hand out.

"Nice to meet you in Adrian Michaels, why were you looking for me," I said after shaking her hand.

"The reason I was looking for you is that Chiron wanted to speak to you, and I was supposed to guide you there," she said.

"Oh, why dint you just say that then, let's go," I said causing her to scream and start walking.

I won't lie I smirked a little.
