Attack

Yo yo yo!! Okay...so that greeting was cringe. I'm sorry. Anyway, I finally found some time to write another chapter! Yay!

I love you guys and I...I have no words to convey my happiness right now. Of course, I'm pretty sure you would much rather read the story then read my ramble.

(Dedicated to @daoistofwind) - Thanks so much for your support!

ENJOY!!

Percy's P.O.V. (First Person)

Will looked at Nico apprehensively. Nico just shrugged, "We're going to have to tell him anyway. There's no point in stalling."

Will frowned and turned back to me. I mean, I get the hesitation. It's a prophecy. Nobody likes those. Wait...

If Annabeth is Nobody but she's somebody, does that mean she likes prophecies or doesn't like prophecies. Did I just confuse myself? Am I right?

...What was I talking about again? OH RIGHT! The prophecy. Sorry, my ADHD...

Anyway, Will's hesitation was a little more...unnerving. It was like, if he didn't tell me, the Earth would explode, but if he did tell me, the Earth would still explode. I tried to soften my expression so it would make saying the prophecy a little easier on him.

When he finally looked like he was about to relent, the war horn blew. Lou Ellen, a girl from the Hecate cabin, ran up to me, "There's an attack near Thalia's tree. Hellhounds, dracaena, cyclops, the whole package. We need your help."

I saw Annabeth come out of her cabin, her hand on her dagger. She locked eyes with me, a grim expression etched onto her face. I looked back to Lou Ellen and nodded.

"Fine. Get the younger campers, 11 and under, into a cabin. Doesn't matter which one, we just need them to stay safe. Aphrodite campers with Charmspeak will help us confuse and distract the monsters. The Athena cabin needs to make sure we have plans in case anything big happens or if we're losing. The rest, well, they better get their armor on. We're gonna fight."

Lou Ellen nodded to me and ran to the campers, barking orders and herding up the younger kids. I twirled my trusty ballpoint pen in my fingers and ran to the Pine Tree.

That's when I saw it.

It wasn't a huge army, but it wasn't small either. About ten hellhounds, five flanked on either side of the group of monsters. Next to them, I saw about four cyclops for every hellhound. You do the math.

Then, I saw some dracaena, which was a relief since they were fairly easy to fight. What made me almost drop Riptide, on the other hand, was something I wasn't expecting at all.

The Avengers. There. Just six of them, though. Iron man, Captain Spangles, Bruce, Natasha, Thor, and Hawkeye. There was also Loki, but he's not considered an Avenger, is he?

Iron Man seemed to spot me because he thought shooting me with a beam of light was a proper greeting. His light directed everyone's attention me. When I mean everyone, I mean everyone. The Avengers, demigods, and the, gods forbidden, monsters turned their eyes to me.

I couldn't resist the urge to groan and say some...colorful words in Latin. I saw Natasha cringe. Who knew she knew Latin?

I gestured for the Avengers to stay there, but apparently, Thor and Loki didn't have any regard for my opinion. Typical gods, I tell you.

They walked right through the barrier like it was nothing, before running up to me. Loki just sent me a nod, but Thor was grinning like a madman, "Young, hero-"

I had to cut him off. The barrier was about to fall, "Not now. Get the Avengers to safety. We'll talk later."

Thor nodded, and Loki studied me, "Perhaps we may be of some assistance?"

I rolled my eyes, "No. You may not be of some assistance. Just keep the Avengers out of my way."

With that, I turned back to see all the eligible fighters of camp, dressed fully in armor, waiting for a command. I looked at Chiron, who was in the back, "Lower the barrier! Greeks! Prepare to...um...fight!"

Chiron did some hocus pocus and suddenly, the barrier went down. Some monsters in the front fell flat on their faces from confusion, but the others didn't even hesitate to trample them and attack us.

I uncapped Riptide, its blade gleaming with the noonday sun. I grinned. I finally felt at home. Then, I let my ADHD kick in.

I slashed, stabbed, ducked, and parried as monsters came at me by the dozens. Mostly cyclops, since...there were mostly cyclops. At one point, I found myself back to back with Annabeth, trying to fend off a hellhound.

I managed to sneak a glance at the Avengers, who seemed to be needing help. Thor and Loki could only hold back a couple of hellhounds before they would be completely taken over.

I made my way through the battle, slicing through any monster that came in my way. At one point, I saw Will and Chiron shouting orders and decimating creatures with arrows. Austin was also playing some awful tunes on his saxophone to confuse the monsters so that his sister could just, you know, murder them.

I got through the battle and to the edge, where Thor and Loki were protecting the rest. Clint and the others tried to help, but their weapons did nothing against mythological monsters.

I dodged the teeth of a hellhound, sliding under its legs and cutting its underbelly, effectively turning it into dust. I panted, getting tired. Looking around, I saw the battle going in our favor. Just a few more monsters to kill.

I shot Thor a look, "God of Lightning, or something like that right?"

He nodded, and I looked around, "Can you summon enough energy to strike the rest of the monsters? There's not many. I can use my powers to get half, and you get the rest."

Tony sputtered, "Powers? What powers?"

I smirked at him, "You'll see. Thor?"

Thor nodded and spun his hammer, launching himself into the sky. I raised my arms, feeling that familiar tugging in my gut. The water was in my control now.

I looked up and realized that I was surrounded in my own personal hurricane. I ran forward, pulverizing whatever monster I came across. Before I could finish off the final few, Thor came to help and electrocuted them.

I let go of the water, allowing it to flow back into the ocean. Thor landed next to me, a toothy grin spread on his face. The Avengers came up to us, Loki dragging his feet in tow.

I looked at said God, "Make them forget everything that happened in the past ten minutes, knock them out, and take them back to Stark Towers. I'm not revealing myself just yet."

Natasha stepped up, "Wait. You can't just make us forget what happened."

"Yeah, I mean, you were a literal hurricane, kid!" Tony added.

I growled, "I'm not a kid. Loki. Do it."

Loki sent me a chilling smirk, "With pleasure."

Let's just say, after a lot of thrashing and annoyance, Loki managed to wipe their memory and knock them out. Chiron put up camp border again and the campers started to clean up the monster dust and tend to the wounded. Luckily, there weren't any casualties, so that took a little off my conscious. With Thor's help, Loki and I managed to drop the sleeping superheroes back at Stark Towers.

I told the gods about the new prophecy, and we headed back to camp to get it from Rachel or anyone else. I suddenly remembered that Annabeth had some news to tell me. I just had to hope that the prophecy was the only news I had to take. Apparently, the fates just hate me. Don't they?

WOW. I managed to get a chapter up during vacation. I'm in the car, so I'm sorry if the chapter isn't good. I have some problems writing on the move.

I'm also awful at fight scenes...so yeah. XD

Anyway, hope you enjoyed! Thanks so much for the support! See you soon!!
