Chapter 13

Percy was feeling terrible. His chest was burning extremely sore and itchy he just didn't want to break down in front of the pretty girl. "You should go ahead of me so you can get there in time." Right now they were walking at a relatively slow pace and were not going to make it on time. Percy literally couldn't go any faster even if he wanted to.

Which at the moment was the last thing he wanted to do. "Are you sure I should leave you behind like this." Jason asked. "Yeah I don't want to screw up the mission for some dumb reason." Percy replied putting on a wide smile. "Alright. When I transfer her I'll come right back on the path to walk the rest of the way with you." At the moment they were about 5% of the journey away from the city. "Sounds good. I'll take it easy." Charlotte got onto her Ponyta and started on the road. Jason looked back one more time before following her at a brisk jog.

Percy kept up his smile until he couldn't see them anymore. His expression immediately devolved into a pained expression and he released both of his Pokémon from their pokeballs. After releasing them he immediately falls face first into the dirt. Crash and Fúria looked confused but decided to just sit and wait.

Percy immediately fell into a deep sleep where he dreamed of beautiful pink haired woman and shiny puppies. Crash and Fúria sat around his unconscious body as though they were bodyguards. A couple of passerby's tried to help but gave up when Crash scared them off.

About an hour later a girl with beautiful blonde hair and a boy with dirty blonde hair could be seen entering through a gate of a city. Jason walked through the gate side by side with Charlotte.

He looked around until he saw a few large bodyguards approaching them. "Pineapple" one of them muttered to Jason. Pineapple was the word for transfer so that no one can impersonate a bodyguard.

Jason nodded and turned around to return to Percy. "Wait." Charlotte called out to Jason. Jason turned around and stared apparently disappointed in his disability to leave fast enough. "Can I have your number?" Although at first glance it seemed to be a genuine question there was no way Jason could refuse.

If he refused he would be pursued by a millionaire and an agency. She might even expose his identity online and get people to hunt him down. If he said yes he would be hounded by her relentlessly and eventually end up in the same situation. He doesn't like her in the slightest as he partially blamed her for Percy being hurt.

She was impulsive, spoiled, rude, disrespectful and most importantly she didn't respect Pokemon or his friends. He's been thinking about this for a while now and thinks he came up with the best course of action. He was going to pretend to go out with her and get a sponsorship from her agency.

Eventually he'll pay somebody to take her interest away from him. It clearly didn't take a whole lot to make her fall in love. As Jason had never once been nice to her or saved her in any way. It just took good looks. "Sure. I'll give you my number." Jason responded with a charming smile. "Okay I'll transfer you 20,000 for that rest day." She said. They exchanged contact info and Jason shrugged. "See ya." He nonchalantly said. He turned around and started a steady jog back to Percy.

In a office in Pallet City.

"Did they get there?" 'Yes. Although there were complications. I almost had to step in. Percy has quite the aura potential.' An Alakazam could be seen floating in front of a desk in a messy office.

Professor Oak was sitting at his desk twirling his thumbs. "I'll tell the prodigies that there are two more joining them. Jason will call me soon. I'll tell them about their addition to the prodigies and their new responsibilities. I wonder how they'll react to newcomers." 'Some of them have already met.' "Who?" 'Kai, Zoe, and Aurora. They will most likely call you soon to ask why you gave Percy a Totodile.'

"They are the most annoying to talk to. Their clans are always pressuring me. I wouldn't have even entered them into the Prodigy program. It's meant for people with no resources not giant clans. I'll ignore their calls until I announce the news."

About an hour after Jason left Percy, Jason was returning to where he left Percy. He saw Percys unmoving figure on the ground with a blue lizard and a furry monkey sitting next to him. He rushed to him and checked to make sure he was breathing.

After making sure he was breathing he lightly tapped on his cheek to wake him up. After a couple of slaps Percy woke up groaning. He rubbed his eyes and sat up. "Where am I?" He asked. After warming up his brain he remembered all that happened. "Where's the shiny?" "It's right here." Jason handed the pokeball that had the Growlithe in it to Percy. "Oh. Ok". He lied back down trying to go to sleep but was promptly slapped by Jason. "We need to get to the city first." Jason said. "Ok. Let's go than." Percy felt better than he did before but still felt weird.

His hand that was previously ripped open had turned into a white mark. When he looked down to his ripped shirt he saw where a scar should have been there was a red and white mark. It still hurt like hell but at least his life wasn't at risk anymore. His chest and hand were super itchy as he could feel them healing themselves.

He stood up and performed some stretches to warm up his muscles but noticed that his body wasn't handling anything well. 'Looks like I'll have to take a day off.' He thought to himself. He started walking forward making sure not to tweak something. He was able to walk at an average persons speed but anything that was faster would make him go through to much pain.

They walked at their pace for about a hour and a half before arriving at the gate to Honey City. The guards checked their IDs and they walked through the gate. The City was bustling with activity as there were people swarming in the streets. The buildings and shops could be seen sporting a yellow and green theme.

Lots of people walking by were wearing green and yellow. "Should I be wearing yellow right now?" Percy asked. "I think this city is just a closely knit community. I read online that almost all residents wear green and yellow. As an unspoken rule, I guess. Let's go get a hotel room." Jason said. He pulled out his Pokédex for a map of the city. Jason guided them to a large 6 story building with a large green sign that said Honey Trainer Hotel.

The building was a surprising white for the green and yellow city. They walked in and Jason rented a room for them. When they got to the room there were two rooms with a living room. There was also a training area that was spacious enough for some light training.

Percy let Crash out of his pokeball and layed down on the bed. "I gotta go do some stuff so I'll be out for a little bit. You stay here and rest." Jason said. He looked up and saw Percy already asleep with Crash in his arms. Jason smiled and quietly left the hotel room.

In several different locations 13 16 year olds got a notification on their Pokédex. The message read 'Meet in front of Honey City Gym in 1 week. Two more have been added to the prodigies. Jason and Percy.'
