Peerless Harem

Today is the day that I will finally take my life. It has been an incredible journey thus far, and I have accomplished all that I have set out to accomplish from the moment that I’d found myself reincarnated into this eastern fantasy. Honestly, me. A simple farmer has reached the pinnacle of all creation under heaven. Yet, despite that seemingly impossible achievement, I feel so empty inside. Perhaps, it is because I am all alone here in this place. This summit. For the loneliest number is me. So many people have left me on my journey towards greatness for one reason or another. They either did not have the OP systems or cheats to reach the top with me, and I feel so guilty for totally forgetting about them for many, many adventures, especially when I ascend to a higher realm. Now that I have reached the peak, standing above all else, looking down at the world and everything below, I wonder to myself, what have I truly accomplished in the end? Where are my friends, families, and most importantly, a harem of heaven defying beauties? ****

Trial of the Wind

With two (or maybe three) supreme beauties guarding my person under the watchful eyes of an AAA, I begin to meditate and attempt to enter absolutely clear state of mind.

It is required to establish my foundation, and my girls (and gun) should be more than capable of taking out any small fries that decides to come along and try to commit suicide by me.

That had happened far more than I would have liked in the old era, and it will likely be the same in this new age due to some things simply do not change. People are always people, and idiots will always be idiots.

And considering all those booming sounds rippling throughout the air, coming from the first AAA, quite a lot of cultivators have gotten tired of living the good life. Honestly, it is pretty good here in contrast to the life back on Earth.

Not all of them are cultivators. Nevertheless, they all met the same fate against the AAA, and from the rate of fire, the weapon will run out of ammos very soon but likely not before the Sword Maiden Sect gains another level in notoriety.

That is actually a good thing for me, as I do have plans for this sect filled with beautiful women. I might not consider everyone within the Sect as candidates for my harem, but that obviously does not mean I cannot teach each one of them a thing or two about my very special swordplay.

Right after I finally form my first foundation.

I drown out everything in order to concentrate my mind and focus my spirit, and as soon as everything is drowned out with only silence remains, I slowly open my mind and have a look at my mindscape.

It is completely empty and devoid of anything and everything except for the Wind Stone.

The Wind Stone is hovering in the air right before me, radiating the faintest slither of elemental energy to the point that most people do not realize what a priceless artefact they have within their grasp. But if they did and somehow made use of it, I would be kind of screwed, as the Wind Stone is unique.

Not completely screwed, but still very much screwed as the elemental energy radiating from the Wind Stone is the purest elemental energy that can be found anywhere within the Nine Realms. Absorbing that pure elemental energy into the grounded fragments of my foundation enables me to reform them into the most perfect elemental foundation.

In this case, that elemental foundation will be a wind foundation.

Thus, reaching out my mind, I attempt to extract more elemental energy from the Wind Stone in order to speed up the process. At the current rate of release, I will probably die of old age before enough of the fragments can be used to form a foundation.

Unlike Spirit Stones, which can be found pretty much in abundant everywhere within the Mortal Coils, I actually do not need to ingest the Wind Stone to extract the energy within. The only reason that I do so, is because I do not want anyone to take notice of my spiritual form.

My spiritual form is not exactly normal for a mortal physique, and as long as my spirit stays within my body, it is shielded from all prying eyes. There are a lot of prying eyes, and they are everywhere, so it is safe to assume that I am always being watched.

This is somewhat true, as all Divine Emperors and Divine Empresses have cosmic awareness.

Basically, Divine Emperors and Divine Empresses are completely aware of everything that is happening around them and under Heaven. Even so, it still takes them time to process all that information. While they do, I am relatively safe.

And even though my body is under Heaven, my mindscape technically is not. It exists within my body, and therefore, those guys and girls should not know what is happening within it.

Unless I am being watched directly under a microscope, I have plenty of methods to shield myself and hide things from others. Of course, it will only work if I remain insignificant.

I am insignificant for the time being, but I cannot remain so forever.

Furthermore, I am actually racing against time, considering that someone is destroying my stuff. I think whoever that is will eventually realize that I am not around anymore due to my lack of retaliation, and that will not be a good thing for me and everyone that I know.

The Wind Stone reacts to my action from its aura, and within an instant, my mindscape is slashed into pieces by unending amounts of invisible blades.

I snap my eyes open and expel an awful amount of blood. My entire body is bleeding from thousands upon thousands of small cuts.

"Master…!?" Li Zhu and Kumo both calls out in shock and fear. I cannot blame them, as for a moment, I was fine and the next, I am like so.

"I am fine," I utter and produce an elixir in my hand. I quickly consume the liquid within the bottle to stop my bleeding and close my wound. Another elixir to restore my stamina.

Kumo seems to notice the elixir from her ghastly expression. "Is that!"

"Ignorance is bliss, Kumo," I warn her before using the blood stone to suck up all the blood. It is not a good thing to leave my blood behind anywhere. "You should try to be ignorance whenever possible."

"Yes, master," Kumo apologizes and lowers her head.

"Continue to defend me from anyone who intrudes within this chamber," I tell Kumo and Li Zhu before returning to my mindscape and come face to face with the Wind Stone once more.

To think it can harm me physically within my mindscape, I should be more cautious.

But unlike before, the Wind Stone is inert, not radiating even the slightest amount of elemental energy for me to absorb. It obviously realizes what I am doing from my action. For it to behave like so, it must have developed a conscious just like my blood stone.

And that is really troublesome.

"Alright, what should I do in order for you to accept me as your master?" I question and wait for some sort of response. Since none came regardless how long I have waited, I reach out my mind once more and probe the Wind Stone.

Within the Wind Stone exists a pocket dimension. While it is called a pocket dimension, the dimension is not exactly small. Pocket dimension can be anywhere from the size of a small room to the size that can swallow up entire galaxy.

And considering how vast the space within the pocket dimension, a galaxy can probably fit within the Wind Stone easily. Even so, I must enter the pocket dimension and search out the consciousness inside in order to proceed further.

This can be done by dominating its will or by erasing the consciousness completely. I prefer the former as there might be great benefits to be gain, but if I have no choice, I will resort to the latter.

In order to enter the pocket dimension, I must have a form. A spiritual form would be fine for this, as the pocket dimension within should be separated from everything else. Hence, other Divine Emperors and Divine Empresses should not be able to see what I am doing.

Or even sense me. Probably.

I take a moment to debate with myself before materializing my spiritual form within my mindscape to proceed with the plan, and the moment I did, the Wind Stone shatters under my sheer spiritual might, releasing all that elemental energy.

Absorbing that much elemental energy would instantly kill anyone. Luckily, I am not just anybody and I only manage to be knocked out for a day or so.

Sadly, a lot of thing happen within an hour let alone a whole day, as when I finally open my eyes again, Kumo and Li Zhu are battered and bruised, laying on the ground while the AAA is destroyed.

And I come face to face with quite a lot of people.

I hope that you enjoy the chapter.
