Chapter 21 - Family Reunification

The next day. Birmingham.

A large crowd of people stood at the station. All this was accompanied by loud exclamations. On this day, relatives and friends who left 4 years ago to fight for their country will finally arrive.

Women, children, old people are all waiting for the arrival of people close to them. At that moment, there were so many emotions in their eyes that words could not convey.

Standing in the middle of a large crowd, a family of 3 people stood waiting for their loved ones. A mature woman, a 20-year-old girl and a little boy who was holding a girl's hand.

After some time, a train soon appeared on the rails and as if on command, everyone rushed to it.

But instead of crowding with the others, Polly decided to stay put, as she was afraid that with such a strong influx of people, Finn would be able to suffer because of the crush that was happening around now.

About 15 minutes later, they finally saw those whom they had been waiting for for so long. At that moment, as soon as Ada saw her brothers who were walking with bags and in full dress uniform, she did not hesitate to rush in their direction with tears in her eyes.

Polly, who was standing with Finn, couldn't hold back her tears either. At that moment, she was happy that her boys were finally able to return home safe and sound, but she also knew that having gone through all the horror that they had seen, clearly left an imprint on their hearts.
