Regional Training
It is now a new year, the annual competition was cancelled because of the destruction caused by Skymaple and ColdStone and the demolition of half the sect. The sect was still under rebuilding and also panic, it was hurried so the disciples can go back to their living quarters to continue their cultivation.
Huxton just turned ten, he wanted to celebrate his new age but later rejected the idea because of his environment he had no friends there because he hardly steps out of his living quarter. He continued to cultivate earnestly alone, to make sure he rises in strength
"Huxton get up, let's go to the sect assembly ground, the sect leader called to address us, it's time for the new year regional training"Bryan burst through the door and rushed in excitedly
Huxton gently opened his eyes with no expression written on his face, with his constant cultivation solitary training, he seems to have become very mature more than his age
"What is the new year regional training?"Huxton gently asked
"Oh, you haven't heard of it, since the annual competition was cancelled, the yearly regional training can never be, it is a competition, where by all the sect select two persons from every element been cultivated in the sect"Bryan said with an excited expression
"Then what will they do with the selected people?"Huxton gently asked with a raised eyebrow not understanding the whole thing
"They would be sent into the beast region for training, they will have to fend for themselves and also protect themselves, they can die in there and also get injured, that is not the sects fault, but if you can survive those beasts and make it out alive, you will have a drastic progress in your cultivation and also your prowess,I have been cultivation earnestly since I came into this sect for that chance, but still I lose it because i am too weak,they only select the best two of every element in the sect"Bryan said with different expression on his face, sometimes dejected, sometimes excited
"So that is it?then why are you so excited when you are not even partaking in the training"Huxton asked with a teasing smile
"Yes, I know I don't even stand a single chance to go,but I am always excited about it because I believe one day I will partake in it,and I also know you won't be going too, so we are even"Bryan said with a teasing smile too
"And what makes you think so?"Huxton asked gently with a smile
"I know so, you have been cultivating non-stop since the day you entered this sect, still I haven't felt a single spiritual energybfrom you, which means you haven't even broken to level one of element building tier, I was sad because of my poor talent in cultivation,but I guess I am far better than you"Bryan said with a wide smile, trying to mock Huxton
Huxton still sat there with a gentle smile oh his face, he has no intention to exchange words with him
"Well I don't have time for your rubbish right now, I am not interested to go to the beast region for any training,so don't bother to tease me"Huxton said lightly
"Yeah I get, go back to your pointless cultivation you have been doing ever since, I will be going now, to know when the training begins"Bryan said lightly before leaving hurriedly
"Humph, you know nothing"Huxton gently said to himself with a snort
"Lord Huxton, I think you should go for the training, that would be a perfect place for you to train yourself in combat and skills"Huzzahs voice gently resounded in Huxton's mind
Huxton kept quiet for a while in a pondering State
"I think you are right grandpa, at least I can leave this sect to train severely this time"Huxton said with a happy tune
He got up from his wooden bed and went outside towards the assembly ground, he saw Bryan outside the stone house with some other disciples discussing excitedly
Bryan saw him and gently walked up to him with a teasing smile
"I thought you said you were not interested, so what are you doing here?"
"Well, I came out to see how the assembly is going, to hear what the sect leader wants to say?"Huxton gently replied
"Anyway we plan on going there immediately, you can join us"Bryan gently invited
They all moved, leaving for the assembly ground. Sometime later, they arrived at the assembly ground which was filled with people
"Oh my god, they are so many people here"Huxton was puzzled by the huge amount of people he saw there
"This is the assembly ground for the silver Wing sect, both the core disciples and inner court disciples are here, but in a different position, I know you haven't seen such huge numbers of people, don't get too shocked"Bryan gently explained and said to tease huxton
Huxton gently replied with nonchalant nod, they proceeded to stand in line with the other outter court disciples.
An empty platform was opposite the assembly ground, where the sect leader and elders stands to address the disciples.
"So where is the sect leader?"Huxton gently asked Bryan who was standing behind him
"Relax bro, don't be too impatient, they will be here soon before you even know it... hey look up, they are coming"Bryan said before suddenly pointing to the sky where several figures flew towards the direction of the platform
when the disciples saw the figures flying towards them, they all kept quiet and bowed to greet the sect leader and elders.
"Good to have you all here, the past event was a great shock to most of you,we cancelled the annual Competition because of it, but we can't cancel the regional training because its not in out power to, it is a regional selection and a command given by the royal family"The sect leader said calmly in a gentle tune
"Anyway, I believe most of you here know what the regional training is all about, for the new disciples, I will explain for them to have a better understanding of it"
"The Regional training, is a training created by the royal family to help the sects grow their special disciples,it is a training where by every sect in our country will select two outstanding disciples of every element in their sect to be sent into the beast region for training, all though is a means to help them become powerful, it also a dangerous means of training because alot of lives are been lost there, some times, a sect loose all their disciples there, that is why some sect refuse sending out their outstanding disciples, but they can't do anything about it because it is a command from the royal family"The sect leader explained in a short speech
"I believe this little explanation of mine got you all a little understanding of the event about to take place"the sect leader said with a gentle tune
"Now let's proceed to the selection" the sect leader said seriously
