09. A 'big' wound

The family as it seems greeted each other and went inside, outside her view.

Honestly speaking, she was not really curious about their internal life and problems as she had her own.

Just as she wanted to exit the palace, she saw a man coming out of the carriage and holding a huge sword.

Where the hell do he put that thing in that small place?

And how comes no one saw him?

Can she warn them somehow?

She couldn't. She could only see servants gathering together and him swinging his sword at them.

In fright she screamed. "Map out!"

Her face paled as she realized that she just saw something big. Very big.

If that noble family dies, the her existence here will be in danger as well, but no matter how much she thought about it, she knew she was too weak and unable to do anything.

Yes, she got basic knowledge of fighting, but that place is literally at least few hours of walk on muddy streets.

It's not like she got wings or such.

With beating heart she weakly whispered. "Mmmm...map?"

The map showed up and only after she neared the picture, she could see the mess. And not only the mess.

She saw the young man running away while holding his arm tightly. His before indifferent face was filled with anger and sadness.

Anna Gale saw him running towards the stables and then a horse and a man rushed away.

The man with the big sword came out and reached into his clothes. She saw with wide eyes a black crossbow that was pointing at the youth's back and even the black arrow flying straight towards him.

The impact almost kicked off the man off the horse, but he still continued rushing and was soon too far for the man to shoot again.

It could be seen that the man cursed and rushed to unlock one of horses, but by then young man already crosses the bridge and rushed towards... her?

He went straight over the fields, avoiding the street, while the big man passed the streets and went out of the picture.

Almost like she saw a crazy movie, she saw the young man holding on onto the rains and trying to be stable, but it was nearly impossible as he was wounded.

With a gasp she saw him literally falling off the horse and the horse running away into the deep forest.

Without thinking twice, Anna Gale put her still wet jacket, her rain shoes on and stormed out.

Her future is in hand of this young noble.

If that person killed noble family, then he probably might kill other commoners or even do worse.

And maybe she can get more land for farming if she saves his life.

But what can an twelve year d

child do to help a noble? She rushed to the place he fell and slowed down trying to find a reason to bring him back.

Just then a sound could be heard and the teenager jumped out of bushes, completely scaring you.

"Ahhh!" It was not fake scream as her really scared her. She held her chest and could feel her heart beating fast.

He currently looked like one of zombies and got frightened. What if this world has zombies as well?

"Please... help... me..." He spoke and fell literally face forward.

She could see him fainting as he knocked his head onto nearby stone and rushed to garb him before he didn't fall into now muddy and very scary looking creek.

The wind and rain became again even stronger and the thunder hit into nearby mountain and made her shiver.

Her twelve year old body was already tired as she worked hard day before. It's not like hae can rest instantly.

Since morning she was busy as a bee and now pulling a young man that was at least three heads higher and probably twice her size was a real problem.

To her luck he woke up and dazedly leaned on her with full body weight and let her walk him to the house that looked old and broken in his eyes.

But as she opened the door, the heat form inside got his frozen and wounded body and he finally fainted completely.

The two girls just woke up and thought that their sister went to toilet and saw her bringing home a man.

The young man was sprawled on ground and Anna took off her soaked jacket, the muddy rain boots and stepped inside while trail of water was pouring from her clothes.

The two girls saw that she was trying her best to drag the man inside and helped her.

They pulled in one hand together while she pulled him on other hand far enough.

"Close door. I need to get the arrow out of his shoulder. Bring me a knife." She knew that her sisters could handle this much after going trough all the mess in the zombie apocalypse.

The knife was not far away so Michelle carefully brought it to her and saw her cutting clothes around the arrow.

Anna was stunned to see that the arrow actually just pierced trough something the boy wore under the clothes. It looked like a heavy leather west and the arrow pierced trough it and just cut into the skin of the back.

With flat expression she glanced at the small wound and rolled her eyes. "He was just gazed buy the arrow. I think he fainted from fright."

And from what he probably saw in that house.

With a smile she pointed upstairs. Being me a clean piece of cloth. I'll bandage him."

The two girls chuckled as they saw playful expression on their sister's face and rushed up to find something... anything that could stop the 'large' bleeding.

Anna calmly turned him around and just rolled near the fireplace. She had no intention to take off his clothes and make him missunderstand.

Just then her two sisters found an old pillow cover and brought it down. It started already braking from too much washing, but they kept it as they thought of using it as washing cloth.

Anna Gale make few longs strips and rest of cloth she stuffed over the tiny wound and bound it around his body.

Just as she was done, he slowly started opening his eyes and blinked dazedly. "Where am I?"
