Chapter 2: Just a Normal Family

As we both were heading downstairs for breakfast along with our mother, I saw their were already two people sitting in a luxurious sandalwood table having breakfast, being served by maids.

These two people are my father, Leon bright. He is a 35yr old man, with deep black hair and red eyes. He is the head of our, Bright family and also, Count of the, Fanix Empire.

He is feared by both masses and nobles alike, by another, Title, Mad beast Count.

Imagine, My surprise when i found the reason for this name, Though we will talk about that later.

On the left of my father sat, Alice Bright,

My big sister, Alice is 18yrs old, being 2yrs older than me. She is 5'8inch in height, with long black hair, most probably inherited by my father's genes.

Although she also inherited father's read eyes, but now they are green in colour due to her, Awakening of Elven Lineage.

She has the biggest boobs i have ever seen, H-cup, and has pointy ears, but not as long as the natural born elves.

"John, today is your first day at Royal Star Academy...Do you want to be late for such an important event, You will be mocked by other freshmen nobles" Alice sternly said.

"Huh...?! Who will have the guts to mock the son of, Mad beast Count ?" Father suddenly, choked upon his food upon hearing me say this.

After, drinking some wine Father asked, "Who the hell told you about, this name of mine,damn brat??".

"Oh..so it's true"

"No!!...It's not"

"Hehe... You can't hide the truth forever old man" I tauntingly said.

"Stop trying to change the topic, and tell me who was the Bastard that told you about this Nickname of mine"

"Old man, now I am 16yrs old and has it's own information network" I Proudly said and then continued: "Finding your nickname was a piece of cake for me"

"...." Mother

"...." Alice

"...." Anna

"...." Maids and the Cat Bell

After, noticing their increasingly deadpan looks, I shrunk my neck and Sheepishly asked: "What is it?"

"Stop foolish around and tell me who was the bastard?" Father angrily asked and continued: " Do you think any common people or lesser nobles will have the guts to talk about my back like this".

"Father, You never told me your brother, Uncle Brian was adopted " I asked confused.

Father: "WTF "

"Uncle Brian was the bastard who told me about this name of yours..!"

"That... Motherfucker, I will kill this shit"

"Father, why are you called, Mad beast Count..? " Anna asked innocently

Now, Even i was curious as , Although Uncle Brian told me about Father's Nickname, He didn't tell me the reason for it. " Yes... father what's the reason for that" I also asked curiously

"Oh... it's because..." Alice was going to tell us but , suddenly father blocked Alice's mouth and: " Don't, Please don't bring up my embarrassing past infront of Anna, my dear daughter ".

"Maybe it's because,In the past he sometimes behaved like a Mad beast" Mother Aisha suddenly said.

After mother said that their was a pin-drop silence for a moment,But after that Both of my sister's and me started laughing crazily. I can even see from the corner that even the,Maids were having problems controlling their laughter.

"Brian... you fucking dick, i am going to kill you" Father screamed angrily, seeing that all of his dignity has gone to waste infront of his children.

After all this family drama was over, we all started eating our breakfast properly.And Father said solemnly: " John i believe that you certainly surprise everyone today in the awakening ceremony..." and added "But don't worry even if your talent is found to be not great, we Bright's have a lot of treasures that can improve your talent that will make even the most talented be jealous of you".

Hearing that, I was very grateful for father,as it greatly decreased my anxiety about being not able to stand upto our family's reputation.But Old man what the fuck do you mean my saying that we have a lot of treasures that can increase the natural talent of a person.This type of treasures are rare even in royal treasury and here you are telling me you have lots of them.What are you some kind of hidden ruler of the empire or what. And don't tell me you robbed the treasury of a Empire Huh.

Well enough of my internal monologue. "Thanks old man, but don't worry i will bring glory to our Bright family, After seeing my talents even the king will be jealous that why didn't i get born in the royal famiy".

"That's my son" Leon proudly proclaimed

"Alright, stop talking and hurry up for the academy John and Alice" Aisha urged us

"Alright Mom"

"Yes Mother"

We both replied

And yes, Big sister Alice also attends Royal star Academy even before me.And not to brag, but she is considered a genius in terms of talent in the academy.

As the brother of such a genius sister i can't be left behind in terms of talent. I will make sure that, I will be called a Monster in terms of talent in the Academy.

I am excited to see what kind of destiny and fate awaits me.
