The duo stared silently at each other, multiple thoughts running through their mind. Suddenly, the Servant busted out laughing, with Impulse following soon after.
"Wh-why are we laughing? Hahaha." Impulse laughed, holding his stomach. "Seriously, why are we laughing?" He asks once more, getting serious.
"I am surprised. Once summoned, I knew I was the fake due to my memories stopping when I wrote my name in the Library." The Servant said, chuckling. "Who would have thought you would come to this world and become..." He stopped, thoroughly looking through his Original body.
"You became weaker?"
"Yes." Impulse response, cleaning the tears off his eyes.
"Why is that?" The Servant asked, tilting his head.
"It's called Speedrunning. This time, I will get stronger quicker with better powers." Impulse response, pointing at his eyes. "This is one of them. And I also gained magic."
"I see..." The Servant muttered, going silent. He then turned to Masaru,
"So what's the plan, 'Master.' Do we kill these two then slaughter the other servants? Also, call me Carnage from now on."
"Na. We will be following Impulse's plan." Masaru yawned, sitting on the front bench of the Cathedral. "I don't want to formulate any plan for now."
"Do you think you can defeat my master and me?" Kiara asked with a seductive tone, standing up and fixing her nun outfit.
"Yeah." The Servant replied, looking at Kiara below the altar.
"Yeah, he definitely can." Impulse agreed, seeing no reason to deny it.
"Ufufu... Well, I guess you haven't seen what I can do." Kiara said, climbing the altar and standing beside her Master. "Master, when are you going to open the Cathedral up for the mass. I would like to... help the people in need."
Impulse shrugged, not really wanting to open it up for randoms he doesn't know. "So, what is your name?" He asked, looking toward the nun beside him. Well, you can't really call her nun. Not with how tight the dress is and the slit up the left side, exposing her leg.
"Alter Ego, Kiara Sessyoin." Kiara introduced herself, a smile on her face.
"But, fufufu... To think you can call upon someone like me. Shall we go together to the Pits of Hell?"
"Likewise." Impulse said, immediately feeling the bond connect them, mana flowing from him to her.
"Ahhh~ Master." Kiara moaned, holding her stomach. It was taking a lot not to devour her Master, but now? The bond they have between master and servant is making it harder.
"What a weird servant." Impulse muttered, looking at her shivering while holding her stomach, a blush on her face.
"You know Impulse. You can use Master's Perspective on her to see what she is since she is your Servant." Masaru spoke in a low tone, staring at his Servant.
Hering this, Impulse turned to the nun, using Master's Perspective.

"An EX Noble Phantasm. Interesting." Impulse muttered. He could care less of her skills. As long as her Noble Phantasm is high enough, it is all good. After all, with the amount of mana he is supplying her and her EX Mana, they can continuously spam that Noble Phantasm. "Masaru, what is--" He stopped, facing the door. "We have a visitor."
Bending down, he picked up his blindfold, putting it on. From his magical sense, he knew both were Magi, with one of them having the biggest Mana signatures he ever felt. He has been keeping tabs on them as they lived in the church just a bit down the hill, but in the three months he has been living up here, this will be their first contact with each other.
Without an invite, the door was pushed open by a golden-haired man with a slight smirk on his face. "I was wondering who is here. A pair of servants and their masters." He said, casually walking into the Cathedral with one hand tucked in his pocket. "Huh. And strong ones two."
Using Gradation air, Impulse created a spear, getting ready to fight whoever this was.
"Now, now. Don't be scared." The intruder said, sitting on the bench close to the back. "You should leave now if you value your lives. This Cathedral now belongs to me."
"Gilgamesh. First hero. King of Heroes. It is an honor to meet you." Carnage said, walking down the altar.
"Wait, he is Gilgamesh?" Impulse asked, trying to remember the book he read about Gilgamesh from the library of heroes.
"You don't remember?" Carnage asked, looking behind him at Impulse.
"No. He must be so useless my brain erased him from my memories." Impulse mumbled, rubbing his head with his free hand.
A tick grew on Gilgamesh as he shouted, "Mongrel!"
"Sorry for our intrusion." Another voice came as a priest walked through the doors. "My name is Kirei Kotomine, and I am here to make a request."
"What is it?" Impulse asked, noticing the smile on Kiara's face as she licked her lips. 'Did she see something?'
"I would like to utilize this Cathedral to station the Overseer for the Fuyuki Holy Grail War." Kirei Kotomine said, walking forward. He doesn't know how they became a master, and he intended to find out, but, in his eyes, these two masters were the most dangerous in the city. The despair they will bring to the other masters would be more flavorful than any tofu he has ever eaten. Kirei's heart started beating in a lively rhythm. "In return, I will hand you Gilgamesh."
Gilgamesh crossed his legs, staring at Impulse. As his new Master, it would be easier for him to eliminate all the servants and seize the grail for himself. With that, he wishes to end all the weak humans. Only the strong and determined survive like it was during ancient times so that he can reclaim his rule as one true king of all humanity.
"Why do you want to use the Cathedral exactly? You have a church to yourself. What would be the point of this specific Cathedral?" Impulse asked, not understanding the man's goal in front of him.
"Because this is a Cathedral. A place of God. What priest wouldn't want to be stationed in a Cathedral?" Kirei lied, holding his cross. "Besides, I will register it as part of the holy church. All your activities, your heretical art, it will all be protected." Kirei outstretched his arm at Impulse. "How about it? My stationing here would hide your secret. The Burial Agency or the Executors won't hunt you. How about it, Cassis, the 19th of the Ancestors."
Impulse stared at the man before him, shrugging. He knows he doesn't need Kirei's help to be able to connect to the Holy Church. He knows Kirei is after the secret on how they become a master. But he decided to accept, because of one thing.
"You will tell me all you know about the war, Holy Grail, and the Greater Grail." Impulse said, smiling when Kirei looked at him in surprise. It makes sense, as the Greater Grail isn't a knowledge known by any random mages. But with enough digging, anything can be found.
"Oh. You know about the Greater Grail." Kirei said, a slight smile on his face. "Very well, I will tell you all I know."
"So it is a deal." Impulse said, outstretching his arm, not moving from his position in the altar.
Kirei walked up to the altar, shaking Impulse's hand. He then smiled, saying, "This will hurt. Try to relax."
"Huh-- ugh!" Impulse shouted, jerking his arm away. Looking down on his right arm, he saw two command seals. One on the back of his palm, and below that was another. The first command spell was three intricate tattoos, forming an ankh. The parts were the knot of the ankh, the arm, and the legs, and the second command spell was a Cross, with the three parts being the head, arm, and legs. Normally it would be impossible for one person to hold two servants. But because of Impulse's huge Prana, it was possible.
"Finally. The king is back to his true power." Gilgamesh laughed, two golden portals opening with a golden goblet and a wine bottle coming out. He held out the two golden goblets and wine to Impulse, a smile on his face. "Shall we have a toast, Master?"
"Gladly." Impulse smiled, getting down from the altar and walking towards Gilgamesh in the back. With the King of Heroes, his win is guaranteed. 'This will be an easy war, but I can't let my guard down. Noah is still out there.'
