Chapter 3 I can only capture offers.

<Transport to the world of Serefia: complete, providing newbie equipment: novice bow x1, simple arrows x 20, steel knife supply backpack x1.>

¨ No, no, I don't want your damn novice gear or be in the middle of a damn gigantic forest in serafia or whatever you call it. Just take me home.¨ I exclaimed, incredibly upset and concerned about my current situation.

<The rookie training missions have been launched; check your hunter's book for more information.>

¨ Damn it. I don't think that whatever brought me here is reasoning with me. Besides how it sounds, it seems like one of those systems that have been mentioned so much in the novels; I hope it's not. Frankly, I don't want to see myself being controlled by a shit system that only seeks to fuck me.¨ I started an unproductive monologue when I started walking around.

In these circumstances, it is a bloody miracle that I still haven't lost my sanity, although I could have lost it already and be locked up in a psychiatric facility right now while delirious. . . yep, I think it is better to stay positive.

¨ The voice mentioned something about a rookie mission and a particular hunter's book. It sounds like that strange notebook from the name, which is most likely why I am here.¨

While reviewing what I have now with me, I see that the novice bow looks like an outstanding quality simple wooden bow. The same can be said for the arrows and the dagger. At least it seems that just because it's rookie gear doesn't mean it's useless junk.

Now, where is that damn notebook. . . oh, there it is, resting peacefully in this lovely leather sheath tied around my waist. Both items go to a match judging by the unique designs and materials. Only one question remains: where did that damn sheath come from.

"How dare you lie there comfortably while I'm in the middle of some godforsaken place" Yep, now I insult an inanimate object like crazy.

Five minutes in the middle of nowhere, my sanity has already started to go out the window. Focus, Desmond, focus, or you could die in this forest.

Perhaps it was due to all the unexpected changes that came one after another, but my usual patience and seriousness seemed nowhere to be found. Luckily, my father isn't here to see me because he wouldn't be proud of his son's unprofessional behavior, although I doubt even he would find such strange things when he was in the army.

¨ Ok, now to check this thing¨

I take the notebook from its elegant sleeve, so there is no more rest for this wicked notebook; When I opened it without any surprise, the same strange diagram appeared, apparently magical from what I know so far. But now, for some reason, I can also see some text that goes like this:

< Hunter's book menu>

<status >?

<analysis >?

<missions >?

<locked >?

That's all, quite a bit, to be honest; as if that weren't enough, it looks more and more like a system interface like the ones in the novels. If I press the question marks, I can see obvious explanations.

Although I am inquisitive about all this, let's start with the missions that brought me here.

5) Zero-Star Skill Manual Medium-Level x 1.

Notes: rewards vary according to the level of achievement of the objectives, so these can be lower or higher than what was previously noted. You will only be able to return to your world after the period that the mission lasts, and this failure will result in the erasure of memory with everything related to the hunter's book and its loss.>

. . . You have to be kidding me. I have to stay here seven days, maybe if I'm careful I could achieve it, as for fruits, it is probably not that difficult to find fruits in a forest, but hunt magic beasts? If they look like the mutant beasts I know. . . well, I'm dead.

Really what did I do to deserve this stupid notebook? Hunt seriously? the only thing I have hunted in my life is the supermarket offers; do you want to kill me so much?

As a child, I sometimes used to hunt with my father, but that was many years ago, not to mention it was before the awakening. No matter how it was, these were my circumstances now, and there was no point in crying about what I couldn't change, so I should concentrate on surviving; after all, Claire was waiting for me at home.
