Naglfar's new citizens showed up on the tenth day following the "physical negotiations" with Parvi. They numbered less than fifty people, barely enough to fill a fifteenth of the ruined town but it was a good start.
Erik welcomed them with open arms and a kindhearted smile.
The wolf trio had been sent on a hunt as to prevent panic, though Porvi probably already briefed the villagers on the tamed beasts.
Men, women, children, and elderlies walked into the town warily, the ghost rumors still vivid in their minds. They were pulling sleds storing furniture, supplies, and their belongings.
Amongst them, half looked like fighters, normal for Nurmen villagers who learned how to defend themselves at a young age, however, fighting usually wasn't their main occupation.
Erik guided them to his new mead hall. Though renovations weren't complete, there were no more cracks, nor snow or debris inside. The room was big enough to house hundreds of people.
