17 Chapter 5: THE DAWN AFTER A DARK NIGHT

"Well, I certainly did not expect to see you here" A man with a white bandana, a black mask, and a slashed Takigakure headband spoke.
"..." The other man had a black cloak and a traditional straw hat.
"It is as rumors speak. Not much of a talker eh? well, it doesn't matter someone wants to meet you and has asked me to bring you there. Come with me, Samurai. " The man in a cloak with red clouds spoke.
"If I refuse?" The guy with the straw hat asked.
"In that case, your half-dead body will also suffice" the man with the black cloak with red stated.
"Very well then take me to your client Kakuzu," The man in the cloak said.
"You are as informed as people state you to now follow me," Kakuzu said as he ran from the road into the woods.
The man with the straw hat followed Kakuzu in a dark cave.
"You are finally here Kakuzu, and you must be Mugiwara," A man with orange hair and multiple piercing spoke.
"That would be the name I have gotten over the years, but please refer to me as Sanemi" Sanemi spoke still with his straw hat covering his face.
"All right then Sanemi you must be confused that why we brought you here. My name is PAIN and I am God. " PAIN stated.
"Oh? a God needing a mortal's assistance? " Sanemi asked.
"Yes that would be so, you see this world is in a constant cycle of hatred, war, and suffering, and I as God want to erase that. For that purpose, I have gathered a group called Akatsuki our goal is the capture the nine-tailed beasts and use their power. Now Mugiwara or Sanemi join us" PAIN narrated and then demanded him to join.
"You see PAIN as a Samurai I cannot just bow my head to now one. Capture the tailed beasts? Bring peace to the world? Let's see if you are strong enough to claim your words. " Sanemi said as he pulled out a katana.
The katana had a purple hilt, three circular golden discs were connected to make its guard. The katana had a black blade with a green Hamon pattern.
In a blink of an eye, Sanemi was in front of PAIN with his sword drawn ready to cut.
"ALL MIGHTY PUSH," PAIN said calmy, and stretched out his hand.
Sanemi's blade which was ready to cut PAIN slowly felt a force and then both Sanemi and his blade along with a lot of greenery were pushed back.
'Amazing so this is a gravitational push quite interesting to feel' Sanemi thought.
Sanemi flung his hands towards a tree and chakra strings came from his hands and pulled the tree towards him with the tree as a grounding Sanemi jumped towards PAIN.
"You are quite persistent," Pain said as he once again put his hand forward.
"Let's test your endurance then" PAIN stated.
"PLANETARY DEVASTATION" PAIN called out his attack and created a massive meteor and threw it towards Sanemi who was charging at him from the forest.
"Divine Departure" Sanemi also called out his attack and sent a conqueror haki infused strike towards the meteor slicing it into multiple pieces.

Creating some hand seals Sanemi released a strong wind which carried the pieces of meteor towards PAIN.
"Quite smart of but not smart enough," PAIN stated
"ALL MIGHTY PUSH," PAIN once again called out his attack.
'It took him less than 3 seconds to recharge this a higher tier world than shown in anime' Sanemi thought as he was once again pushed back with all the rubble falling towards him.

'what power' Kakuzu thought as he looked at both of them fight which nearly destroyed the area.
Sanemi clenched both fists with enma in one of them and punched the air multiple times to create shockwaves that stopped PAIN's attack.
"Oh? you stopped it admirable but, Sanemi surrender and join my organization or die. I won't be as lenient anymore," PAIN stated.
"Very well then I shall join you. So, do you have more people or it's just we three" Sanemi asked he removed his straw hat and asked.
"There are others as well follow me to the base there we will talk with all." PAIN said.
"As you say leader," Sanemi said with a smile and put his hat on and followed him.
Kakuzu also moved and then followed both of them.

"Pet fox? very well I will give you 10 minutes to collect it but make sure it doesn't cause disturbance or I will kill it" PAIN stated.
"As you say leader" Sanemi stated and turned and ran in and random direction.
'System start the rolls and Yuki change your appearance to normal' Sanemi commanded both his system and Yuki who was hiding in his cloak.

'Oh, that's a lot of good stuff considering it was my first quest' Sanemi thought.
Sanemi has accepted some of the quests coming from the system during the last 2 months and is in the progress of doing them.
'Well then let's return to them I will use the rewards after the meeting' Sanemi thought and then turned towards where he came from with Yuki on his hands this time. Yuki looked nothing different from a normal Arctic fox with the only exception being having some golden fur at the tip of her tail.
Sanemi came to find PAIN and Kakuzu in the same place. He glanced towards PAIN and PAIN nodded in acknowledgment.
"It seems we are being followed Kakuzu take care of them and meet with us at the base" PAIN commanded Kakuzu and the left with Sanemi in tow.
After a few days both PAIN and Sanemi reached the Akatsuki's first hidden base.
VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE RAIN, AKATSUKI HIDEOUT:
PAIN walked in first and then returned with an Akatsuki cloak and ring.
"Since you are a member of Akatsuki you must wear these clothes every time you are meeting with other members or trying to enter the base now follow me we will meet with the rest," PAIN said and walked in front.
"So you are Mugiwara who is getting quite famous. Not even 3 months and it has been rumored you have destroyed almost 5 small to medium size shinobi villages. Quite impressive for a rookie" A feminine voice spoke as a beautiful blue-haired girl in Akatsuki cloak came out of from the shadows.
"The rest are also coming do not do anything foolish. My name is Konan and I am PAIN's partner" Konan stated.
"Well, I am quite good at cleaning trash" Sanemi stated.
"So how exactly do you guys work?" Sanemi asked.
"Everything will be explained in a few minutes" Konan stated.
"OH? what do I see Mugiwara the lost samurai you are also a part of this group?" A pale man spoke.
"Orochimaru.. one of the legendary sanin" Sanemi stated.
"I did not expect to see a samurai join Akatsuki" A man with short brown hair spoke.
"Juzo Biwa one of the seven swordsmen of mist" Sanemi called out.
"And Uchiha Itachi the prodigy who killed his entire clan" Sanemi stated as he saw a boy with long black hair wearing an Akatsuki cloak.
"Mugiwara the lost samurai you have destroyed a total of 5 hidden villages within 3 months and yet nobody knows your name or face" Itachi stated.
"Oh? I wonder how you look under the hat" Another male voice came and a Boy with red hair came out from the shadows.
"Sasori of the red sand. The one who killed the third Kazekage" Sanemi said he looked at the puppet master in front.
"By the way, I am here as well" another gruff voice came from the shadows, and a man? a plant? a man-plant came from the shadows.
"I am zetsu and I think you should introduce yourself as well no?" Zetsu said as he looked towards Sanemi.
"I am Sanemi or Mugiwara you can call me by any name," Sanemi said as he removed his hat to show his face.
"OH? you have quite a beautiful face if I knew about it I would have hunted you down earlier," Sasori said with regret as he look at Sanemi who quickly put on the straw hat to hide his face again.
"Now then there are 2 more people who I want to recruit they are Deidara of the rock and Hidan the immortal. Konan and Sanemi you both will convince Hidan while Sasori and Itachi you both are coming with me to take Deidara to incase Hidan makes too much trouble dispose of him by sealing him." PAIN said.
"I will communicate with you through the rings. Regardless we will meet here after 2 months with recruits." PAIN stated and left with the two.
"Well, then it's us two alone. Let's see how strong an immortal it" Sanemi said as he looked towards Konan.
"Indeed follow me I know where we can start looking for clues," Konan said
"After you," Sanemi said as he followed her into the darkness.
