Chapter 21: The past that never forgets(Part-1)
"I knew that there were clues about it everywhere...but to think that this would indeed be true...this world is really not what meets the eye," Sanemi muttered as saw the items that were in front of him incased in sparkling clear ice.
In front of him, there was a blade half broken and the rest of it damaged badly. It was as if the blade was hammered by a chisel multiple times and then left to break down here.
But what intrigued Sanemi was not the condition or the mysterious glow of the blade, it was the design of the blade itself. The blade had had a dark silver guard which was further cored by a black covering.
The blade's material could be found throughout its length indicating that it was indeed just a crimson red sword with no covering or handle. The blade itself showed torn and its history of countless battles could be seen even by amateur eyes.
The blade itself was something Sanemi remembers from his birth world. The world where he was considered a genius and prodigy. The world where he was nothing more than another being. But over the course of time, everything changed.
The Blade was none other than Wolf's Gravestone one of 'claymore' type weapons from the rather famous game Genshin Impact.
'The blade is something that should not even exist in this universe let alone this planet...' Sanemi thought as he slowly approached the ice that encased the blade.
"A poneglyph?" Sanemi muttered as he could now make out a block of an unknown material with symbols written all over it. The block seemed to give a faint purplish and ominous glow.
"Of course, I would find a crystal here as well," Sanemi said as he noticed a crystal about three hundred meters away from him.
'This better be my bloodlines' Sanemi thought to himself as he started as the crystal without moving his a single inch. After five minutes the crystal started to glow brightly and then enter Sanemi's body.

'It...my system? this makes things even better with the rolls saved over this period of time I should get something good' Sanemi thought as a wide grin appeared on his face.

The normal semi-transparent and semi-pale-blue screen turned red as the messages about missing features appeared on it.

"Only the inventory part? it seems that it will take more than just climbing the mountain to find my other crystals" Sanemi muttered as he pressed the 'Y' button.

[Hello there young Sanemi, it seems that you have grown quite accustomed to this world. It seems that you have multiple questions, but I have to apologize that I cannot answer them you currently. However, if you want to know the full truth about that sword you can continue to search for other poneglyphs with similar looks to the one in front of you. "...well shit I don't know how to read void language" Sanemi muttered to himself.
'System show me the storage' Sanemi commanded.
'System activate storage' Sanemi repeated as he noticed no change in the system in front of him.
"Broken already? system open storage" Sanemi tried again this time out loud.
'Is it because this is only a storage part of the system it does not have a voice and thought recognition?' Sanemi thought to himself as he manually opened the storage.
'I might need more than one crystal of the system for it to activate thought and voice recognition...I hope' Sanemi thought as he let out another sigh.
'At least I have most of my items back...' Sanemi thought as he continued to browse through the lists of items he had in his storage.
Light glowed in front of him as a pendant with a clip attached to it appeared in his hands. The pendant itself looked like a piece of rock surrounded by a golden casing.
"Oh my beautiful vision, long time no see" Sanemi muttered as he held the pendant with his hand. The vision glowed golden as a symbol of the Geo Archon appeared inside it. The glow of the vision flicked a little as it trembled a little in Sanemi's palm. With a little burst, the glow faded as the vision lay in Sanemi's palm.
"What? the vision... it's not working?" Sanemi muttered in confusion as he tried again to activate it but there was no reaction.
'But why...is it not working?' Sanemi thought in confusion as he tried to apply a little bit of his fruit power on the vision but it still showed no reaction.
'why...vision links directly to the ambition of the user!' Sanemi opened his eyes in realization as he held the vision tightly in his palms.
'did...my ambitions change since I came here?...my ambition is to be the R.O.B. how can I lose it at all?' Sanemi thought as his mind went through his memories.
As Sanemi tried to recall his memories of the past. His life as a normal guy who was sent to the world of BNHA out of his will. Everything that was normal to him once was snatched on the whim of something supernatural, by someone stronger.
While Sanemi does know that this helped broaden knowledge and everything R.O.B. did was just R.O.B.s choice he was not even warned or consulted about it. He is thankful for everything given to him, but to be put in such dangerous and life-threatening circumstances without his consult made him feel powerless.
The vision Sanemi was holding slowly recovered its glow as it started to float a little above Sanemi's palm.
'To never be forced to such circumstances...to never be that powerless ever again...that is my resolve to be the R.O.B. to never be insignificant again' Sanemi thought to himself as he clenched his hands tightly.
The vision was clenched between his fist started to glow and shine brightly as the symbol of the Geo Archon appeared on it. Slowly he attached the vision to his cloak as he stood up.
'The vision is glowing again...so I did lose my ambitions at some point in time?' Sanemi questioned himself as he closed his eyes again and then opened with a new, more determined glow.
"but now...I guess I can make copies of it" Sanemi muttered as he approached the poneglyph encased in ice along with the sword.
Sanemi put his palm against the block of ice as a golden glow appeared on in. The glow slowly turned into a golden air bubble filled with strong vibration. The air bubble crashed with the wall as cracks appeared around the area of the clash.
'The ice is surprisingly easy to breakthrough considering that it was probably made by a God. Perhaps time does erode everything' Sanemi thought to himself as the ice shattered and the sword along with the poneglyph fell on the ground.
Sanemi put forward his hand to grab the blade. The blade started to glow crimson as ambers started to pour out from it. The blade started to glow and shake violently as the snow and ice under it started to melt.
Sanemi with his reflexes managed to avoid his hand getting burned as he stared at the weird phenomena for a while. The blade slowly stopped glowing and went back to its 'dormant' state.
'It started to release heat as soon as I tried to touch is...is this the power of a God?' Sanemi thought to himself as he coated his arms in Aramaent haki and tried to pick up the sword again.
The sword's glow grew brighter as the ember turned into flames that covered the entire blade from the top to its guard. The blade's hilt grew darker as Sanemi's haki kept on climbing over it.
'This sword is sucking my armament haki...just like Enma' Sanemi thought to himself as he held the sword with both of his hands. The sword reacted furiously as it vibrated and produced even more flames.
"Become mine!" Sanemi roared as released his infused Conqueror's haki on the sword as his haki and the will of the sword clashed. The armament coating slowly and steadily started to engulfed the blade as the flames turned into embers which too finally calmed and disappeared.
'It had yet to calm and become useable...I guess I will need to provide continuous amounts of haki.' Sanemi thought to himself as he rest the sword on his shoulders.
'Now that I think about it...I don't exactly have anything in which I can note down the writings...' Sanemi thought as he sat and stared at the poneglyph.
"This is getting annoying now..huff...what should I do..." It has been quite some time since Sanemi sat down to figure out what to do with the poneglyph but no solutions have come to his mind yet.
'I will just carry it with me' Sanemi told himself as he grabbed the poneglyph with both of his arms. Veins around his arms tightened as he managed to lift the poneglyph.
Sanemi gritted his teeth as the grip of his hands tightened. Finally, Sanemi managed to lift the poneglyph and place it on his shoulders. Sanemi's eyes opened wide as he noticed that right below the poneglyph there was another crystal.
'you have to be kidding me...If I move I lose the crystal...' Sanemi thought to himself as he furiously glared towards the crystal. His body started to get covered in black scales as his body became bulkier.
A few minutes later the crystal turned into a dot of light and entered Sanemi. With a sigh of relief, Sanemi dropped the poneglyph without a care as he sat beside it.

'Ironic...anyways I should have some unclaimed advancements' Sanemit thought as he opened the advancement tab.
'System claim the advancement Ancient Texts' Sanemi mentally commanded as the screen in front of him changed.

'Well, that solves most of the problems. System describe the Sub Function equipment' Sanemi commanded as three books appeared in front of him.
Each of the books had a unique design, with beautiful calligraphy used to write the name of the book, the hard covering with the silver borders made them seem more mystical.

[Sun-function: Equipment: Host is now able to 'equip' clothes and weapons that provide a status boost. Each group of clothing can form a 'set' which provided, even more, boosts depending on the 'set'. The equipment can be kept hidden or displayed according to the Host's wishes. The equipment will not prove any extra weight to the Host unless specified. ]

'I see so it is quite basic but if I get my hands on the right set I might be able to overcome a lot of problems' Sanemi thought to himself as he selected vampire's dream.
Light glowed around him as the set appeared over his body. A black cloak along with black pants. The cloak had a red floral design in it, along with that black pants and a fedora with a long red feather attached to it appeared on his head.
"Oh I can feel the edginess flowing in me" Sanemi muttered as he snicked a little.
"Now then it is time to learn more about this" Sanemi muttered as he picked up the book and started his learning experience of the ancient language.

Six months passed since Sanemi started learning the language of the poneglyphs. Over this time he could now fluently write and speak the language which he had affectionately named the 'Void Language'.
"Well then...I guess it is time to get back in action" Sanemi said with a wide grin as he looked at the ship in front of him. The ship was covered in black paint from head to toe. The flags, the deck even the sails were covered in nothing but darkness.
"Now then...I Sanemi am back in action!" Sanemi yelled in pure excitement for the first time after being reincarnated. Even after years passed by after being reincarnated, this was the first time he was going on an actual adventure.
"I also have to gather a crew now...I guess I will save a spot for Yuki as well" Sanemi muttered as the ship's sails opened and he stood in front of the helm. With a huge grin, Sanemi turned towards the Island and punched forward creating a massive current that swept the ship.

A/N: Tobi here the chapter might look out of place right now but everything will become clearer after the release of the next two chapters. These two-three chapters will be released within a few hours apart from each other due to the time taken for rereading and a little editing.
