Chapter 485: Eleysa
She had thought that it was over. That was when it hit again- the pain. She could feel hands on either side of her limbs, lifting her, only to place her back on a cooler surface. She groaned in irritation. The ground was hard to touch, unlike before. It was making the splinters on her back push further into her flesh.
"The woman!" The same familiar voice exclaimed, her pitch high in excitement. "She must be a spy!"
Someone gasped from above her.
"She looks like a witch." Another one accused, this time, the voice coming from close proximity. "Look how her skin is eerily shining!"
Luna wanted to roll her eyes at the comment. But she was too weak to do any such thing. It seemed that the people, whoever they were had never seen a witch before. Or the one that they had assumed to be witches had been something else entirely.
"What if she's a demon?!" The first one shouted, her voice faltering with fear.
