364 Chapter 364: Seeing her death

The forest was eerily silent tonight- like the calm before a storm. Not a howl nor a hoot broke through- as if the Island was holding its breath. The dull light of the moon pushed through the open windows of the huge mansion, falling on the uncovered feet of a restless Elize.

Her brows were scrunched in discomfort as she squirmed on the bed, her head moving from side to side. Her chest rose and fell in a fast rhythm, as if she was tensed behind those closed eyelids. She gasped, a tear slipping down her cheek unconsciously. The pain was suddenly overwhelming. 

Elize found herself staring at a pair of kohl black eyes, blazing with hatred as they met her gaze. A handsomely rugged man stood before her,  his face inches from her own. She could feel his hot breath on her face. But what bothered her the most was the sword that was pushing into her chest. Her grip on the blade tightened, drawing blood from her palms.
