Lloyd's POV

Lloyd raised his hand towards her. 

"Elize." He called, smiling widely at her.

Elize turned towards him with a smile, but it didn't reach her eyes. Something was wrong, and everyone seemed to know about it except him. Leith let go of his hand and sat up, his lips pouting in complaint. He looked like he was about to cry. Lloyd looked at his brother in confusion. He was about to ask him what it was about when Elize suddenly spoke up, her eyes darting nervously between his little brother and him. 

"You're awake." She said, taking a seat beside him. 

Lloyd nodded, reaching out to take her hands in his. "I heard you call me." He replied, looking into the eyes of his beloved happily. 

Elize smiled with a hinge of sadness in her expression. 

"I'm relieved." She said, looking away. Turning towards the queen, she asked, "Mother, could you-"
