Lloyd's POV
"Thank you, Prince Irving, for the presents," Tanila said with a slight bow.
Lloyd smiled politely in reply.
"It's my father's way of saying that he's sorry for all the loss." He said, looking towards the direction of the horse-drawn carts which had arrived not so long ago.
The soldiers were unloading boxes of various sizes from the carts, with Lloyd and Tanila standing towards a side, supervising the whole process. Lloyd thought that it was very kind of his father to send presents to Milethnor. King David was a good man and a benevolent ruler. He had always cared for the well-being of his people, and never once had he discriminated between the fae. That was more than he could say about most of the dukes and other princes in the kingdom.
