"Hey," I blinked my eyes open at the intrusive voice, hating whoever it was. "You have to come babysit me."
Selene.
I groaned and rolled over, not wanting anything to do with her at the moment. Or ever, maybe.
"Hey," she said again and I felt the bed dip as she crawled onto it. "Wake up, a*shole. Aaren told me to come wake you up."
"You have ten seconds to make it worth my time or I'm going to unleash Hell." I didn't bother opening my eyes to look at her.
She was quiet for a moment. I could feel her getting comfortable in my bed. "Rosie made waffles and I found a deck of playing cards."
"Why, in the name of all things unholy, would I care about a deck of playing cards?" I lifted my head and glared at her from under my tangled hair.
She giggled and I both hated and adored the sound. "I figured we could play a game of heads-up poker?"
"Gambling is Aaren's thing, go away." I laid my head back down and pulled my comforter up over my head.
