Chapter 285: Heavy Assault

"What, Durotan is dead!" the elder Saurfang stood before the two armies, a look of disbelief on his face.

On his side, a war of attrition had fully unfolded, with tens of thousands of human and orc warriors locked in a searing melee over a battlefield more than a thousand meters wide. The battle lines had almost become entangled.

Though the trio of Saurfang + Durotan + Samuro seemed unstoppable, they were after all only three individuals. The Princes of Altland, on the other hand, numbered more than a dozen. Seeing they couldn't win head-on, they simply refused to engage directly, opting instead for a strategy of 'you fight your battle, and I'll fight mine.'

The dozen or so princes divided their forces into four groups, leading the Altland army to strike from all sides. Meanwhile, at various points along the front, Saurfang could always rout the human forces before him, but the Horde's armies suffered great losses elsewhere.
