Night hunt

The guard details were kind of tight, but for Percy, this was child's play. The courtyard was like a garden but this one was the size of a football field. The garden had a different assortment of trees, shrubs and bushes near a path paved with cobblestone and marble. The path was well lit with guards patrolling them at ten minutes intervals. Percy hid in the shadows of the trees and then activated his ability technokinesis, it allows him to control technology, which he used to dim all the lights. As a guard walked by, he ran out and snapped his neck; afterwards another guard bent the corner, I pulled out one of his short swords and threw it right between his eyes. He wrenched the blade out of the guard's skull, another guard saw me afterwards and immediately swung at me with a metal baton wildly. Each swing of his baton missed me, he dodged his final attack before locking his hand with the baton breaking it. Taking his short sword Percy stabbed him in the throat. Although he was planning to take them out silently he didn't expect them to bend the corner that early, so Percy hid the bodies amid the tall hedges, and moved forward.  Two guards were standing in a well-lit area so he used his ability to dim out the light while they were distracted, he snuck up behind one of them and then slit his throat then the other one carelessly tried to run leaving all of his vital points exposed, I took my short sword and threw it at his nape. The blade rattled through his skull bursting out of his mouth.  When that was over, Percy hid the bodies by throwing them over the wall to the left of the house. That's when Percy saw Jack Herbal on his balcony sipping on his wine. He dressed in his white fur pyjamas with golden hair and a devious look on his face which pissed him off.

Jack stood there watching the blood-red moon and then he felt a chill pass over him, a chill that shook his whole nervous system. The moon was engulfed by the clouds and the whole house was covered in darkness. Jack instinctively grabbed his throat and he felt as if death had its hands around his throat. Then he froze, just for a couple of seconds he couldn't breathe. He sensed someone watching him and as he turned around what he saw wasn't a 17-year-old boy, What he saw was one of the death agents.

As the moon emerged from the clouds, Percy stood on the balcony looking as if he just came straight out of hell, with eyes glowing bright red with his sword dripping blood. Jack stumbled back with hands still clenching his throat. Terrified of the sight. Jack mustered up all his courage and spoke to this agent of death.

"Who are you?" asked Jack.

"Who me," asked Percy.

"Yes, you," Jack said.

Just for a moment Percy showed his face in the blood-red moonlight and said

"I'm just a part-time assassin" Percy replied with a demonic smile

At that moment blood gushed out of Jack's fingers, Jack tried to scream but he couldn't, his voice wouldn't come out.

"May your death bring joy to the world," Percy said coldly and then left

As he left someone emerged from the shadows with tears running down their face. That person watched as Percy vanished into the blood-red moonlight.

"Cold as usual Percy" Andy remarked with an ecstatic grin

Andy felt his phone vibrate in his pocket

"Hmm, my phone" Andy said surprised

Andy then answered the phone to a familiar voice,

"Hello, oh ma 'am" Andy casually answered

"He's gotten stronger" Andy proclaimed proudly

"That sounds great," a female voice joyfully whispered over the phone.

"Damn you Percy!" Adrie roared enraged

"I need a punching bag" Adrie in dismay

"What the hell you just say" Percy birked

Percy sat on the window, legs crossed and with a distasteful look on his face.

"I meant training partner" Adrie said

"And, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU CLIMBING THROUGH THE FREAKIN WINDOW AGAIN!!" Adrie howled aggressively.

"I always come through the window" Percy responded

"I know that but why not the front door" Adrie answered annoyed

"Your parents freak me out" said Percy

"I could have been naked" Adrie bashfully replied

"Even though there's not much to see anyway" Percy sarcastically responded

'WHAT WAS THAT!!??' Adrie angrily yelled.

"Nothing anyway, never mind." Percy frantically trying to change the subject

'Whatever, anyway, how was your job?"Adrie asked

"Bloody, anyway just came by to show you that I'm fine." Percy said

"I wasn't worried or anything." Adrie snapped

"So, the 20 text messages weren't from you." Percy confidently

"WHA-!" Adrie embarrassed stuttered

"Adrie who are you talking to" Adrie's mother called out

"I'mma head out" Percy called out halfway through the window before he left

"Percy!!..wait bloody Percy get back here!!" Adrie screamed.

The night was still as cold as before. As Percy walked home thinking if he got stronger and if his parents would accept what he's doing. He's purging evil from this world right...right?. Percy saw someone running to catch him and screaming.

"How many times I told you to come meet me after the mission" Andy tardily

"Oh, I forgot" Percy said

"Here's your pay'" Andy said

"Thanks, later" Percy said before he went home
